We are really fucked if we dont get Haaland. Kane to City, Vlahovic to Spurs... After all this happen would not be surprised if we get desperate and drop 200m or something on Haaland. And I would support that deal.

But if we dont get Haaland how depressing it would be, in the summer when we are desperate for striker and it is our number one goal for transfer window that two rivals get top strikers and we dont?

Spurs aren't getting stronger trading Kane in for Vlahovic.

Fucked in what context? Fight for top 4? If that happens that would make TT worse than Lampard (domestically) unless 4th requires mid to late 70's points.

We need to fight for title. And I consider myself biggest optimist but if City gets just Kane (and even Grealish on top) and we dont get striker of that level I would drop white flag before season begins...

Plus if City gets Kane and we cant get Haaland we should not allowed Spurs to take Vlahovic.

Between Konate, Upamecano, and Koundé I wonder how experts would rank these 3 French CB’s. All pretty much the same age, all about to step up to massive clubs. Upamecano had somewhat of a drop in performances this past season, didn’t he?

This is why I am surprised and mentioned it yesterday. I expected LCB. Maybe someone like Romagnoli.

Only one was at the EUROS.

And sadly played out of position at fullback so we didn’t get to judge him properly.

Actually seen enough of these to rank:

Kounde

Upamecano

Konate

However there are caveats with this list. Firstly, I have listed them on best all round but that doesn't mean best fit for Chelsea. Kounde will always be the covering CB for his team and never the main leader of the line. Konate is really hard to place owing to injuries, however I haven't been that impressed with him. Reminds me a bit of a more technical, slightly less physical Zouma. As for Upmecano he is good all round but can be shown up at times against tricky players and can pass himself into trouble. However, those are fixable flaws with more experience and dedication. He won't ever be better than Kounde on the ball.

We also have Colwill and Mbuyamba for LCB.

They are not even part of pre season. Zero chance any of these players get a chance. Alonso, Chilwell are more probabile to fill that spot.
