If there is any truth to that rumor, Marquinhos should be our #1 target.

Yes signing Marquinhos would be great in terms of his ability but this is also the player Tuchel played as a DMF a lot.... would like to sign Verratti if possible but I doubt it will come off.

For me

GK if Kepa leaves one of the three 1: Rajković, 2. Areola, 3: Fabiański a good competition goalkeeper

CB: Tomori replacing Zouma

LWB/LB Emerson and Alonso out Gosens in

CM: do everything possible to sign Rice if you just can’t get him sign Tchouameni

ST: Haaland is probably not moving this summer and I have as much chance as playing for Chelsea as Harry Kane does and I am in a wheelchair. So doing everything to bring Lukaku home.

On our striker search, according to the latest on The Athletic...

https://theathletic.com/2607717/2021/05/24/Chelsea-secure-champions-league-top-four-without-prolific-striker-imagine-with-one/

- Any hopes of getting Haaland are now gone after Dortmund qualified for the Champions League. Dortmund weren't keen on selling him before, definitely have no intention of doing so now

- Lukaku not pushing to leave Inter and he loves playing for Conte but that could change if Conte leaves the club

- Man City favorites to sign Kane and Levy doesn't want to do business with us

- Aguero going to Barcelona

I read that Atletico didn't pay yet the full transfer fee for Felix and they might be forced to sell him this summer, City are linked to him, wish we'd try to go for him, he is class but playing in a dirty medieval team with medieval tactics. Think he would flourish under Tuchel.

Another second striker type, just unnecessary signing.

Is Weigl in the mould of Jorginho? For me that's fine if Jorginho was looking to leave but we need an alternative in midfield that is stronger defensively.

My biggest worry with him is why did Dortmund let him go relatively cheap and with the greatest respect to them, why didn't a stronger team than benfica come in for him?

So now we know we're in the Champions League next season, what do people realistically think our transfer business will be like this summer.

I think the two absolute musts are a midfielder and an attacker.

We need someone who doesn't leave us looking so vulnerable when Kante is out. I'd have no problem with us making a move for Declan Rice, although I think my favoured option would be Bellingham. I think he'll stay at Dortmund though for at least a season so perhaps someone like Rice could be targeted this summer and Bellingham in a year or two as Kante starts to potentially decline. I think another physical, mobile presence in midfield allows us to potentially revert back to a back 4 and thereby playing an extra attacking player which may help with some of our struggles.

I think Tammy and Giroud are definitely going to leave. Whether we target an out and out striker or another attacking player to play the system I guess will be up to Tuchel. Players like Sancho being bandied around could be very good options, as I do feel with the year experience under his belt that Havertz could play the role of a false 9 longer term. However another option which I think should be considered is Calvert-Lewin. I think his all round game is very strong, and Everton have had a pretty poor season overall, so he may look at a bigger club as a real opportunity to progress. Perhaps Tammy and cash to test the waters?

I think the third target depends on Tuchel's plans. If we remain with a back 3 then in my opinion we need a top rampaging right wing back who can add an extra layer to our attack. I think Chilwell is fine on the left and I do think he's been very good in the back end of this season as he's become more accustomed to wing back. Reece James I think could long term take the role of the right sided centre back in the three then. If we instead went to a back 4 then I would look at potentially a centre back alongside Rudiger, Christensen and Silva, with James and Chilwell as first choice full backs.

Need Defender and Striker ... not the upcoming ones, no "generational talents", no wonderkids, no patchups type ... but a proper WC for both positions. Period!

Also need a midfield who can command/distribute ... Kante still has a couple of seasons left so we need to get someone to partner him. We r light in the middle so need a person better than Jorginho/Kovavic.

More importantly Tuchel needs to have a backup plan in place.

Eden Hazard wants to leave Real Madrid

  • By Juan C. Navarro
  • Posted on 05/24/2021 08:52 - Updated at 09:00

Just two years after landing at the Santiago Bernabéu, Belgian Eden Hazard is already seriously considering the idea of putting an end to his time at Real Madrid. The player would be delighted to return to his former club, Chelsea. 886. That is the meager amount of minutes this course has accumulated Eden Hazard .

The 30-year-old Belgian has once again been the victim of numerous injuries and when he has had the opportunity to step onto the pitch, his performance has always been far from what was expected. Although his contract runs until June 2024, the footballer believes that, after what he has experienced in the last two years, the best thing for his career is to put an end to his time at Real Madrid .

According to Edu Aguirre last night at El Chiringuito de Jugones , the attacker does not feel comfortable at the Santiago Bernabéu and believes that his situation could worsen considerably if the entity finally recruits Kylian Mbappé.

Return to London

According to the aforementioned journalist, the idea of returning to Chelsea is already passing through the player's head , a group in which he played between 2012 and 2019 and in which he undoubtedly lived the best moments of his professional career (110 goals and 92 assists in 352 official games).

Logically, his possible departure is conditional on the payment of a considerable amount. The whites invested about € 115 million in their hiring and it does not seem that they will accept any offer. In addition, it also remains to be seen if the blues want to win back a player who by age and recent career no longer seems so attractive.
