EXCLUSIVE: Noni Madueke to Arsenal, here we go! Fee agreed in excess of £50m with add-ons included, green light from Chelsea.

Madueke already agreed five year deal at Arsenal days ago and he’s now set to complete the move.

The winger leaves #CFC to join #AFC.

noni cost only 35M. So his purchase was never a very big risk and I think he gave enough to justify his purchase, although it was very irregular.

I think he has potential, but it's not with this type of player that Arsenal will fight for the title.

Given the players we have to replace him, the urgency to sell and Maresca's comments about him, it's the most obvious decision.

I don’t think Maresca will want to go into a grueling season with so many competitions having only 2 strikers in Delap and João Pedro. So unless he feels like Guiu is ready to step up and play more regularly I wonder what the plan will be of Jackson goes?

I dont think Madueke is a bad player at all, will probably do decent at Arsenal. But he is extremely frustrating to watch sometimes. So yeah, not too upset. If this means Sterling will get another minute for Chelsea I will be upset though.

Maresca clearly didnt fancy him, so nice to see the club following a manager for once.

I don't believe NJ will be sold. Only if Villa does something crazy.

Milan doesn't even have money

Agree that Noni isn’t a bad footballer, just a mega frustrating one who has 1 good game in like 8. If Arse are bringing him in to start out of position on the left it’s going to be comical to see their reactions.

He’s going to have the odd game or run of games where he looks super dangerous just like he had here. But over a whole season he’s not good enough to be a starter for a title challenger.

Napoli remain firm on Victor Osimhen asking price

The club’s position is immovable, a wall: €75m, period. The Turkish club has understood this, even though they initially thought they could negotiate a discount or a more convenient plan. De Laurentiis was clear from the start: No to proposals that come with discounts. Napoli don’t do discounts and are convinced they hold the winning card. A solid bank transfer would be enough to make everyone happy.

Two important things need to be said clearly. First: Galatasaray believe they can offer the Nigerian striker over €15m net per season. They can’t expect to pay just €55m or €60m for the transfer fee. They already had the privilege of a loan deal that made the first part of the operation easier. Now, no more gifts. Second: Osimhen’s contract expires in just one year, but there’s an option to extend to 2027, with a starting salary of €15m per season. That is just an option, so Napoli are not desperate or under pressure. If the right offer doesn’t arrive and Victor stays, things can be reconsidered in January.

In recent hours, Osimhen has been in direct contact with Galatasaray, and there has been an honest conversation with the club’s vice president in Italy, who confirmed the willingness to pay his €75m release clause. Napoli want more. Not just vague promises of splitting the payment in instalments, but a real final guarantee, like a proper bank guarantee or an irrevocable letter of credit. In short: cash straight away or bulletproof guarantees. Now it’s up to Galatasaray to fully meet Napoli’s demands.

Judging by how each has been used in the CWC, I can actually imagine a scenario where we sell Madueke and Jackson, keep Nkunku, and then make 1 more attacking signing.

How else do you explain Maresca continuing to start Nkunku and saying “he deserves it” and stuff like that? He obviously likes what Christo is doing in training.
