Some reports yesterday that Lavia was on his way to do the medical and if thats true we should absolutly get some news soon.

Crazy if Papa B&E took it personal and went full super sayian mode and sign both Lavia and Caicedo

Personally the most believable story here is that Adams’ medical showed up he needs another 4 months of recovery, as some source on twitter posted. After that the subsequent panic for this double purchase begins to make sense, if we do indeed get both (I’m still kind of confused why we would want both unless we are moving to 4-3-3)

So before it was Lavia being excited about coming to Chelsea and was prepared to sign a massively long contract. Now it’s Lavia hasn’t even had contact with us and still only wants Liverpool. From literally the same reporter?

Seems like today will be another chaotic day. Thursday night everything looked to be in Liverpool’s favor, all day yesterday it switched 180 degrees towards us, and now I wake up and check Twitter to see reports that Lavia is still more likely for Liverpool and Caicedo to Liverpool is very much still possible.

️Excl. News #Kepa: He is close to reject FC Bayern as there was the feeling for the club that he wanted to join them. But there were no agreements as reported.

➡️ Kepa, NOW on verge to join @realmadrid to replace Courtois. Bayern informed.

Real Madrid have now contacted Kepa’s camp — discussions are ongoing with player keen on the move, Kepa open to joining Real even on loan. 🚨

Bayern, informed — as @Plettigoal reported.

Real are working to understand the final formula of the deal wanted by Chelsea. https://t.co/7loYZ9nyi9

People shitting on new management yet they’ve come in and cleared out all the deadwood y’all wanted.

Wild that some of you complain so much.

They’ve done excellently thus far at refreshing the squad and clearing out the rotten apples.

But until they get the most important position we need over the line they don’t get full praise from me. They cannot fail to get Caicedo after all this or they end up looking like clowns.

Followed by this..

This is how you know when people 1) don’t actually know anything and 2) are just chasing Twitter attention.

Why would you tweet something so definitive and then instantly say “well not actually,” more or less? Because you want attention. This is why I only follow reputable journalists and not random fans like this dude.

Lavia deal feels like agent pushing Liverpool to bid enough to get it done. Would be hilarious if we got both though. Personally if we are getting Caicedo I’d be happy to keep Ugo and Santos and use that 52-55m elsewhere.

you can never rule out last minute hijacks so it makes sense, especially in this situation

It's all very nice and noble but that kind of money, I mean his not a maradonna, wtf it's way too much especially for a defensive midfielder. I played there, relatively speaking it's  the easiest position on the field although obviously still hard to a degree

It’s a vital position. You never see successful teams that are weak in deep midfield
