Don’t think Broja goes unless we get an offer so stupid we can’t say no to like £40m or more. For a player that is still unproven I don’t think the club would turn that down.

My guess is that we keep him and he plays a significant role for us this season. With Lukaku gone there will be plenty of minutes available to rotate with Kai.

We need to be strategic in doing our business...order of signings can be crucial else we may fund a rival to hijack one of our targets with the money we give them

Assuming de ligt, kounde, de jong, sterling,c clauss and dembele are who we are trying to buy

We should conclude business in this order

1) dembele - no money sent to rivals

2) kounde - sevilla not gonna hamper any deals

3) clauss - no issues here as well

4) de ligt - juve not gonna hamper sterling on de jong

5) de jong - barca get cash but dont think sterling goes to barca.giving them money while kounde is available is risky

6) sterling - giving man coty money while de ligt is available is risky

Players may chamge but we need to think of order of signings surely

If Newcastle are genuinely interested, I could see them making a big offer. Just look at what they paid for Wood.

If such an offer does come we must reject it. In fact the bigger the offer the more swiftly we must turn it down. Sounds bizarre but I say remember John Terry.

Notts Forrest had made a £2m offer for JT which Ken Bates accepted but JT himself said no to the move. Later Bobby Robson put in a bid of £10m on behalf of Newcastle. This time Bates turned it down because the very size of the bid alerted him to the quality of player we had on our hands. (From Memory the world record transfer fee at the time was £15m. If someone knows better please correct me.)

There is no reason for us to substitute the views of Southampton fans for our own but at one stage last season they were talking of Mando as a player who will soon be worth £100m. Who knows if that will come to pass. When we had Mando and Tammy on the books my own opinion was that Mando was the better prospect. The accuracy of this is something else we can't know yet but I believe Mando is two years short of approaching his full potential so I say selling now must not happen.

Tbf at this rate, I can see us pulling the plug and also Barcelona struggling to raise finances to complete the deal. He could end up still being at Leeds at this rate 😂

Are people really suggesting that we are "giving city money for de ligt" that's hilarious. Yes because without or 50m for sterling they could never afford him. Lmfao.

FFP is helped by off loading players for similar money to players coming in. City could buy all the players they want, but they have to at least give the appearance they care about FFP.

Boehly the type of man I hope would give Deco/Raphinha a deadline. And soon.

Or just leave our offer so Barca has to keep dealing with it. We don’t need to negotiate anything more, it just creates a hurdle for those fucks to overcome.

Raphinha and Dembele likely off the table, the player we were thinking about hijacking at the last minute Richarlison off the table (thank God) no links to Gnabry really, no standout striker targets in place of any of these wide players.

Could it be…….Neymar time? 😰😰😰

We’re nearly out of options here, ffs.

Won't say we're out of options, if both Raphinha and Dembele off the table the other options for RW are:

  1. Gnabry
  2. Antony
  3. Diaby
  4. Olise
  5. Bowen
