after 4 of july sevilla will demands nothing less than Kounde clause? (80M)?

Yup thank God. This chalice has luckily passed us by.

But now Ake is our new Kounde. From bad to worse.

Ronaldo not turning up for second day in a row apparently due to "family reasons". This is exact reason we should stay clear. He is bigger than the club and United will make any excuse for him. Don't need that mate. I know it is not uncommon to see footballers fail to report for training to force a move, but United will pass it as if this was agreed because of his status rather than just admit plainly why he is absent.

Waiting for Romano Here we go De Ligt to Bayern, Chelsea prepare 55 mil bid for Ake.

tbf I think Bayern are too stingy to buy MDL outright. If Juve do not accept their cheap try with the Parvard swap, Bayern are priced out. Still, we might very well fuck up that move anyway.

btw how Barca will afford buying raphinha, kounde and lewa?

even they sold FDJ, its a lot of money

By selling their future income. They defer their financial problems for the future to appease the supporters with shiny new toys.

but they need to be careful anyway

Yeah they should but Barcelona has not exactly been a masterclass in prudential entrepreneurship since they hit the crackpipe with all these 100m+ moves for ok-ish players in the late 2010s. They are hunting those glory days of the past by throwing money at the problem.

But doesn't this mean they are fucked in the future?

Yes they reduce the cashflow they will receive in the future due to having forfeited a fraction of their TV money to investors.

It just a loan and, like any loan, it's all down to weather or not the repayments can be afforded. Given previous experience running the club there should be done very sophisticated financial nous in their team. They should have this under control.

If you want us to go after the top talent instead of the Lenglet's, Ake's, Lukaku's and Richarlison's of this world then unfortunently you need to prepare yourself for this happening more often than not.

The cold heart reality is we're not as attractive as Barca, Real, Bayern etc to play for for anyone outside of Cobham, and even then we're still vulnerable as we found out with Musiala and the Hudson Odoi saga.

There's many things we can be criticised for in recent years but things like a Brazillian player preferring Barca or a Dutch player preferring Bayern will happen even if we had the best board and set of negotiators on the planet.
