I’d be really sad to see Azpi go for sentimental reasons. Genuine club legend and arguably the best bargain buy we’ve ever made.

But his on pitch decline shows me that it’s probably time to let him go. He has always been mediocre going forward but rock solid defensively. Now he’s useless going forward and really shaky defensively, even when he’s playing as a CB in a back 3. Watching players just simply run past him without even using a clever dribble or technical brilliance is sad.

We need a Reece James rotation option that is highly mobile and dangerous going forward. Same thing at LWB. When Azpi & Alonso come into the side we have to totally change the way we play to cover for them. It shouldn’t be like that at a huge club like this.

Hard to imagine we’d sanction any outgoing moves for one of our attacking players with the COVID situation. We’re already down to the bare bones.

Think it’ll be a silent January for us. No club will be selling top players next month.

Niklas Sule's future remains open. An extension is still possible if Bayern meet his wage demands. Nagelsmann appreciates the player and vice versa. However Sule is a fan of the Premier League and his status as free agent makes him interesting for other clubs.

i dont get the neves signing. i think jorginho has 1-2 years in him at the highest level. .

would love to go after bellingham in the summer.

fuck dortmund btw.

yeah right

Screw Neves too. He is just as slow as Jorginho and with a lot of physical limitations.

Also has stagnated or even regressed for ages now. 2 years ago he was banging in those long rangers. Nowadays just a meek passenger. also will cost a ton as he has contract till 24. Pass.

We don't really need a CM for the medium to long term but rather one just for the short term as Saul has been so awful.

As for Jan, I cannot see anything much except for a LWB and maybe a LCB (if Rudi does sign a pre-contract.)

CM shouldn't be an issue personally. Kante, Kovacic, and Jorginho all out was an anomaly (although given the Covid situation it could happen again). We then have RLC who can do a job and Chalobah.

LWB should only be the priority.

Summary:

-Billy Gilmour cannot be recalled as he has played a number of games to ensure the break clause in his loan deal cannot be triggered.

-Attila Szalai isn't a target.

-The chance of signing a new left back depends on Ben Chilwell's fitness. Chelsea might look at options if Chilwell needs surgery.

-Tchouameni is on Chelsea's list but might happen only in the summer. Real Madrid are interested too.

-Kounde has been scouted since 2019, but the fee remains a hurdle and a transfer is only possible in the summer.

-Chelsea's interest in Fofana is true but they will only make decisions only after he recovers from his injury.

-De Ligt might not be a genuine target as his wages are significantly higher than what Rudiger and Christensen are asking for.

-Tuchel will assess Levi Colwill during next year's pre-season.

-Rice might not happen anytime soon as he's contracted to West Ham till 2024(with an option to extend it by another 12 months) and West Ham won't budge on their £100m asking price.

-Chelsea don't have a buy-back clause on Marc Guehi and Fikayo Tomori.

-Chelsea were interested in Sule last summer but he was only a backup option to Kounde.

I agree on all, which is rare for me
