💪💥🔵Chelsea plans to "reorient its culture" this summer, which will result in the departure of several star players.

To raise funds as they don’t have any money left to spend on players in line with the financial fair play rules.

If Barco is indeed coming than I do definitely think Cucu is off to Spain. Barco + Hato as our left sided weapons that cover that entire side of the pitch.

I love Cucu and he’s one of my favorite current Chelsea players but assuming the fee we get for him is good it’s probably smart business if Alonso is going to play with wingbacks.

Not a fan of selling main players in their prime. There's plenty of deadwood to sell before we get to Cucurella.

🔵🗯Joao Pedro now dreams of Barcelona. Not making the World Cup is a big reason for him to put the Barcelona jersey to get him back among the elite. He grew up admiring Ronaldinho, Neymar and knows Raphinha well. The striker will do his part to wear Blaugrana.

he is any good or another potential player from strasbourg?

Not convinced by Barco as a LB for PL... he is not great defending 1v1 and he's also tiny (couple of inches smaller than Cucurella). He's great at passing though, think there was some stat about his through ball numbers but just based on the eye test the guy plays great through balls and plays great in transition, still playing quality through balls on the move or under pressure. I think he'll have his uses against low blocks for sure.

Not even close to the kind of signing we need to fix the core issues in the squad, its just another "if he improves a lot in some areas he could become a hell of a player" signing for the future imo, that can get game time in certain circumstances already. But lets see...

Barco is coming here for the midfield next to Caicedo. Everything I've seen of him makes him a great fit for the engine room midfield role and I just don't see his skills being useful at wingback

Meaning we are broke and we need to sell best players to raise cash.

I can't believe Alonso bought into this.

I have a lot of respect for Bowen but he would be a no for me. When we say we want experienced, high quality players we mean in the 25 year old range not 30 like Bowen. He’s a player who depends entirely on his physical tools and doesn’t strike me as the type who will age well. And his game is also not really suited to a possession based short passing style. He’s a counter attacking player and essentially a slightly better Garnacho.

Plus, with Estevão and Quenda on our right side I don’t know where he’d fit. Especially if we’re playing 1 match a week.
