IF Enzo is sold (highly unlikely this window)

these are the main 4 I am looking at to replace him

Aleksandar Pavlovic
Adam Wharton
Marc Casadó
Ayyoub Bouaddi (doesn't turn 18 until October 2, 2025)

No prizes for guessing who is the only one of those I know anything about. 🙂

What happens if Nknuku and Jackson remain, and there are no further incomings?

Will the club still be foul of the UEFA books? Would leaving a player or two out of the registration for UEFA competition mitigate this?

Imagine if that did happen and we had to leave out all the new attacking signings.   The quality of the UCL squad would be laughable.

I'm not a fan of seeing Spurs potentially getting Rogers and us end up with Garnacho and Gittens.

I'd honestly be shocked if he ended up there. However, I do feel like the chance to sign Rogers has gone.

I feel that Rogers best position is 8. Although I would give him that role in our first choice lineup, I  don't expect the club would agree about this. In any case it would imply finding the right move for Enzo and I don't see any indication that the club is ready for that step.

Everything in the media has pointed to the higher ups being fond of Rogers. He would, in my opinion, play as a 10 instead, therefore Simons would be a no-go (seems like a cert unless someone swoops in). Now that we are so reliant on outgoings, it appears like any business we do wind up doing will be last minute.

Not least of course because any buying clubs are aware of the pressure we are under and will be determined to exploit that. Just like we would, and in fact are doing, they will leverage whatever advantage they can to agree deals which are advantageous for them. With time on their side they are happy to sit and watch the clock wind down.

At this point we’re going to have to hope there are clubs as desperate for forwards as we are desperate to sell the, as we approach the end of the window. Because otherwise we’re going to have to take severely cut price deals for Nkunku & Jackson.

Both Bayern & Leipzig are crying poor and only want loans.

We are in real danger of not being able to register our new players for the CL and also not being able to do any more incomings if we cannot sell Nico and/or Nkunku.

So no Simons, no Garnacho, no lefty CB, and certainly no new GKer.

We are well fucked in the CL if we cannot register any of the new players.

Do we know how much we need to bring in in order to be ok?

Early July it was reported we need to sell for 60m to be able to register new signings and comply with rules. At that point Estevao, Santos, Gittens, Delap and Pedro were already signed. We did that with just Madueke and KDH. So they are fine. About new signings Hato, Simons and Garnacho idk but with multiple clubs fighting over Jackson not worried at all.

No, unfortunately. I so hope that we not are reliant on having to sell both Nkunku and Nico (as we are now likely to get a shit sales price) just to balance the ledger.

That was £60m NET amortised profit needed, not £60m in gross sales.

If it was 60m net amortised profit, only list A and only knockout phase I don't see how we get there even with Jackson and Nkunku sold.
