I still think we are going to get Simons, I think RB are busy, I think (and hope) that Simons will get done next few days into next week, all the top tier sources say as much

I've been tooting the horn for ages about needing a CB and with levi crocked we need him, I think everyone has too much confidence in our CB's its also a lot about who they will be facing this season, the fire power from the top 10 is looking immense

Probably because we’re by far and away the biggest club that are interested in him and he seems like someone who loves being a famous influencer. Staying in the biggest/best league, at a top club, and in London keeps his profile and celebrity high. Also good mates with Enzo Fernandez I think which I’m sure plays it’s part.

Tbh, he probably really fancies his chances of beating Gittens for a starting place. Gittens is actually younger than he is and has no PL experience.
