The plan would be for Rogers to replace Fernandez who I would allow to join Real to help finance the moves. Assuming Real's interest is real of course. If it isn't then I suppose buying both of those players would not be affordable, even if their clubs could be persuaded to sell. Lovely People kept giving our transfer team/sporting directors shit, and I've maintained the whole time aside from that horrid first transfer window, we've been absolutely unreal as far as business goes. We've almost levelled up from previously, and we were already one of the best selling clubs in the world. We're hardly taking any L's on transfers, even ones that seem super inflated at the time. Pizy 18,996
Felix has to have one of the most puzzling career arcs ever. So supremely talented but just never out it together and bounced from club to club to club. Kind of crazy that he has been given opportunity after opportunity at massive clubs and couldn’t cement himself at any of them. I see a portion of our fanbase on Twitter and elsewhere suggesting that it would be a mistake to sign Xavi Simons bevause he’d just be the next Felix. But unlike Felix, Xavi has the work rate and mentality in addition to the silky smooth technical ability. That’s why I think he’s perfect in our team. Duppy Conqueror 1,557
Benfica will try and buy half of him off the arabs in a years time, at which point they will respond by posting half of him to them. TheHulk 2,510
The Saudi offer must be colossal, he actually took paycut after paycut to try and revive his career. Sad to see him give up on his career so early but least we got our money back. Sterling next please. Strike and Sasch

Super talented, but still very raw and incosistent. He might blow up, but might also end up like Rafael Leao who is still like this at 26. Good information thank you. I have only seen Yildiz in the Club World Cup and was impressed. I don't claim that this is enough to contradict people who have seen him play more often than I have. I do however contrast the impression he made on me with my thoughts about Raphael Leao. As my post history will show, Leao never impressed me at all and I consistently argued against us signing him. Based on my own limited viewings I therefore have no choice but to feel that Yildiz is the better of the two. I do though think that the opinions of fans, and especially fans of the player's own club are worth considering. For example, it was the views of Leicester City fans which made me doubtful about us signing Ben Chilwell. I'm aiming to get down to Kingsmeadow a few times next season to take a look at this Rabbàj kid. I'm especially hoping he will make the uefa Youth League squad. (@CraigHope_DM) If Newcastle miss out on all of their preferred targets, I can see them looking at Jackson as a loan option. Given the length of contract he is on, I believe we could accept that. Obviously we should require Newcastle to cover the entirety of his wages, and to pay a substantial loan fee but I see no difficulty in them agreeing to those terms. This could be a win for Nico and for both clubs. It gets Nico a chance to blossom, gets Newcastle coverage while they decide what their permanent solution should be, and gets us two chances to win. If he does well it enhances his transfer value. If he does very well it really enhances his transfer value and brings him back into consideration for an active role in our squad. Things which are not going to happen if he spends next season as our third option striker. Edited July 27 by OhForAGreavsie

I once considered myself very well informed about CFC academy players because I watched a lot of games both live and through online coverage. In recent seasons however I have watched less and less. Last season I watched virtually none, so I now know only what I read and hear.
