Isn’t Chelsea now not betting everything on Penders? As I understand he is talented as courtois. And now they will betting how he will perform at Strasbourg and next year decide if he is will be Nr1 choise for Chelsea. But that is huge bet and not to try to look for better alternatives, because Sanchez is horrible keeper, people gets bit blind. He is performance at Club world does  not change fact. He is still terrible.

The alternative option was Maignan from AC Milan but that deal fell apart over 3-4 million in transfer fee.

Sanchez will still be #1 this season  (unfortunately)

Unbelievable that we made profit off him.

People need to give the board credit here. Everyone was on their case saying no ambition and shit moves, but they've hardly put a foot wrong since that horror first transfer window.

I wish Felix the best though. He never really complained and seems enthusiastic to get his career back on track.

According to reports Atletico negotiated a 20% cut when he gets sold again so let's not pretend they did a masterstroke.

EXCLUSIVE: Al Nassr agree deal to sign João Félix from Chelsea, here we go!

Player authorized to fly for medical and join Al Nassr, initial transfer fee worth €30m plus add-ons and heavy sell-on clause to meet Chelsea €50m valuation in future.

Paperwork being prepared.

Walsh is the most exciting, has unique skills, sort of a bit like Maradonna although too young still to forecast

I was at The Bridge for the Djurgarden game which Walsh started. The team was really lackluster that night however so it wasn't a great opportunity to see what he's all about.

Luis Díaz to FC Bayern is now considered a done deal.

An agreement between Bayern and Liverpool FC has been reached in principle after the new bid was submitted, as revealed. The transfer fee is up to €75 million. Díaz will sign a contract running at least until 2029.

No Simons for Bayern😉

huge loss to liverpool, tbh

amazing player

Is he? I thought he did pretty well for them but nowhere remotely close to the player he was meant to replace in Mané.

I feel like they can upgrade on him pretty easily if they want to.

He’s really good but he isn’t amazing or anything.

Who will play wingers for Liverpool next season? Losing Diaz, Jota, Nunez and Chiesa. And adding Wirtz, Ekitike and Isak. Only Salah natural winger and he'll be out 6 weeks mid season.

They’ll probably go big for Rodrygo now.

Feels like we’ve heard some variation of this same thing everyday this week. Surely by now Leipzig have told us the price range. Don’t know what can still be happenening in these discussions.

Perhaps this’ll be one of those saga’s where we don’t even hear of bids and just get an announcement from Ornstein that a deal is sealed.
