If the idea is to depend on Gittens who is only 20 and coming into a new, much tougher league + Tyrique George who isn’t ready yet either then we could be in trouble in that area if the former struggles to adapt. Not a Kudus type who can play anywhere but isn’t natural in a specific position. But a natural LW who you can swap interchangeably with Gittens. George can go out on loan and play every week. He's a classic bench player for a top team which is only a good thing - rather have him than not have him, if he was actually up for it and to play in the way the manager wants him to. But probably he's not, or we wouldn't be in this situation (and he would already have improved more than he has). But we live in a world where our club almost exclusively makes its money (special circumstances excluded like CWC) from player sales, and he is one of the few players we've got that we can sell for profit and actually not be that bothered if he goes. We can also (and maybe will) sell other options like Andrey Santos, Chalobah, Colwill etc. Could make good money on any of them (relative to what they cost which was either little or literally nothing).
