All year when he was talking a big game about Sanchez I was rolling my eyes because it just felt like there was no way he believed the words he was saying and was just stuck with the guy and saying anything bad would only make the situation worse so he tried to put some confidence in him to get what he could out of him while stuck with him. Curious who else might be 'surprisingly' for the guillotine - maybe the nicer Maresca is about you the more you're in danger! (he was very positive about Malo Gusto and NJ...) yeah, sometimes i don't know what people expect Maresca to say 'I know Sanchez sucks, but Jorgensen is even worse so I have no choice'? That would do wonders for morale Vesper

Special Juan 28,730
This club will back away based on 10M difference, yet we are paying Mudryk millions to do nothing and over paying for shite players

For that type of money, we should be going after WC talent. Kudus, while playing for a struggling West Ham team, has been far too inconsistent. Special Juan 28,730
The fact they are going for a goalkeeper tells you they aren't happy with the current number 1, this is a move to rush them as Maignan has already said he wants the move, Italians being cunts but we are expected to bend over when they come knocking for our players Reddish-Blue and mkh

hamco 3
Maignan is just a tactic of the agent with journalists like Romano, Moreto and others. This is something common to all players trying to renew their contracts and put pressure on the management. Longo reports that we offer 25m and that Milan is asking for 30, now Romano says that we only offer 10. Our board are not crazy. They spent 3x more money for anonymous players and offer 10m for Maignan?! Don't believe everything you read. Vesper and Stats 1
Pizy 19,251
City and Liverpool who will be the main contenders for the title and are already stronger than us are out here splashing crazy money on great player after great player whilst we’re over here haggling over a small fee for a top keeper which we desperately need. Good lord… A dramatic upgrade on our keepers just falls into your lap for around £25m, he reportedly fancies joining you, and you try to lowball Milan on an already cheap price? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
We Hate Scouse 10,352
Haha you lot are all so dramatic, they're playing hardball. AC need the money, they know we want him for CWC. Just at a stalemate, but will be negotiated and we'll likely meet in the middle. It'll get done. Mhsc
Stats 7,225
Happy about this. I know a lot of people want him gone but I still feel there is more to come from him and I feel he is a good squad player. Sancho is gone. Uncertainty around Mudryk also. It is not like we have great depth on the wings and I feel whilst he was frustrating last season, he also showed moments of quality. Defo can build on it and is worth keeping around. Vesper

So we have 4 GK's, 1 of them is keen for a move after a good French League loan, 2 of them aren't good enough to be first choice and the 4th I assume is the young keeper we got from Belgium (who is still multiple years away from being ready). 😆

As poster above said, Quenda is coming next season and we still don't know how much time he will need adjusting. So it is not too much wingers. We don't know what is going on with Mudryk and this season we will be using a lot more first team players as we will be in the UCL so rotation will be key. I think it would be foolish personally to get rid of him, unless we have better replacements lined up and I don't see that so far.
