We have serviceable enough options there. We are stacked in some positions. Sometimes the right player isn’t available. But some people on here always want us to buy for the sake of buying. I’m actually keen on the likes of Duran because I don’t see any out and out surefire thing at striker. Jackson is good enough and getting better. Why not sign Duran and see if he fills out potential and see if Jackson continues to grow. Sometimes those expensive options aren’t worth the risk and better to go for potential in meantime. Any of the players listed above would be a MASSIVE upgrade over Mudryk... including Pulisic (with the caveat of his injury-proneness). To be fair, I'd not break the bank for any of the players listed above (not a fan of Leao either), for one reason or another, but would definitely try to upgrade on Mudryk, and even try really hard to move him. Serie A is indeed dogshit these days and I agree that it’d be super risky buying Kvara or Leão for mega money and expecting them to dominate like they do in Italy here in the PL. But Chiesa I think would absolutely kill it in England. He has the perfect game to translate well. I’d take him in a millisecond at Chelsea.
