Barcelona whiz kid ready to listen to offers, Chelsea, Tottenham among options

https://barcauniversal.com/barcelona-whizkid-ready-to-listen-to-offers-Chelsea-tottenham-among-options-report/

In a major development, Sergi Sole of Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Barcelona whizkid Ansu Fati is now open to listen to offers to leave the club this summer.

The 20-year-old La Masia graduate has been deprived of regular minutes under Xavi Hernandez since the last season and his situation has not improved in the new campaign.

Despite that, the forward had always maintained that he would remain at Barcelona and turn things around.

However, it now appears that he has changed his mind is willing to listen to offers, having thought about the situation and discussed the matter with his family and agent, Jorge Mendes.

Chelsea, Spurs are among the clubs keen

With Ansu open to an exit, there appears to be no shortage of suitors for the Spanish international at the moment.

Indeed, the report claims that Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Borussia Dortmund are concrete options for the 20-year-old attacking prodigy.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of Fati’s talents and even though the youngster would not play Champions League football, he could have a prominent role at Stamford Bridge.

As for Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund, both clubs are known to trust and back young talents, which could tempt Ansu, who is seeking regular minutes.

Over the next couple of days, Mendes will compile all the offers that he has for the Spaniard and present them so that the youngster can make a decision.

Ansu out, Joao in?

The report adds that Ansu’s departure this summer will most likely be on a loan deal, with the club not prepared to lose total control of the youngster.

At the same time though, his potential departure should open the doors for Joao Felix to arrive at Barcelona.

The 23-year-old Portuguese international has made it clear that he wants to join the Catalans, and Mendes as well as club president Joan Laporta are working hard to make it happen.

Atletico Madrid are unlikely to stand in the way of a loan exit as long as his full salary is covered, which the Blaugrana would be open to do once Fati has left.

So, there could be some movement in the attacking department at Barcelona before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea star undergoing medical ahead of reunion with former manager

https://www.shoot.co.uk/Chelsea-star-undergoing-medical-ahead-of-reunion-with-former-manager/

Chelsea will be hoping to build on their first win of the season by beating AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

A brace from Raheem Sterling and a late goal from Nicolas Jackson earned the Blues a 3-0 win over Luton Town on Friday, marking Mauricio Pochettino’s first win as the club’s manager.

The game against the Dons presents Pochettino with the opportunity to rotate his squad, and the likes of Mason Burstow and Mykhaylo Mudryk could be given an opportunity to impress.

One player that won’t be involved, though, is Trevoh Chalobah, as the defender looks set to complete a move away from the club.

According to Football Insider, the centre-back is undergoing a medical ahead of completing a move to Bayern Munich.

The report claims that the Englishman is set to join the German club on an initial loan that will also include an option-to-buy clause🤬

Chalobah, 24, is a product of the Blues’ youth academy and made his senior debut for the club in 2018.

He was given his first proper first team opportunity in 2021 by then-manager Thomas Tuchel, who is now in charge of Bayern, and it appears that the duo could now be set for a reunion.

The Englishman featured regularly for the Blues throughout each of the past two seasons and has made 63 appearances for the club across all competitions, but he is yet to feature so far this term.

He has fallen behind the likes of Thiago Silva, Axel Disasi and Levi Colwill in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, and now looks set to join the Bundesliga champions for the remainder of the current campaign and possibly even longer.

Chalobah signed a new contract with Chelsea as recently as November last year, committing his future to Stamford Bridge until 2028, but it appears that he is now on his way out of the club.

Come on Eghbali and team, time to get personal and gazump the gazumpers. I really like Muani tbh. Obviously, we're not gonna get him but I think he's fantastic and he is so intelligent and unselfish he could play in various positions very effectively, definitely the 9 or 10 positions but I think he'd be potent playing on the left and cutting in too tbh.

As part of the CuCu deal could we actually have it in the deal that he must play for them against us?

Yeah, sure, that would be the only game he'd look like total beast or even score, the Chelsea way 😂

why?

Because it feels like he’s been permanently injured for the last 3 years and after that initial burst on to the scene he hasn’t come close to fulfilling that early promise. No chance do I think he’s at the level needed to walk into our team.
