It’s a bit weird, the Cucu situation. Luke Shaw’s injury isn’t severe. He’ll be back in just a few weeks. So then Cucu goes to their bench and is right back into the same situation he’s in here. 

With as injury prone as Chilly is you’d think Cucu would fancy his chances of getting more minutes for Chelsea than for United. But perhaps Poch has told him in no uncertain terms that even Maatsen is ahead of him now?

Tbh I'm not that familiar with Man Utd's current needs but "on paper" Cucurella can cover LB, LCB, and DM. He's a utility player. They might get use out of him over a season but it is a pretty desperate signing, can't imagine what Utd fans are thinking lmao.
