Please no panic buys. Even if we don't make anymore signings it will be better than buying a player on big wages and have a familiar problem next season.

I think we will be able to get between 70 and 76 points, which is enough for top 4 more often than not.

Gallagher in the pivot, Carney and Sterling in attack. We need reinforcements - Caicedo and Kudus

Gallagher has been our best CM in the pre season and Carney has been a joy to watch.

People seriously need to stop with the narratives

it is not about pre-season form but whether those two will be able to perform well in their positions over 6-8 months. Gallagher is not a defensive mid and a pivot of Gallagher-Enzo is a disaster waiting to happen.

Gallagher has definitely improved from where he was but he is playing out of position, simple as that. Going into the season with him and Enzo would be a wreck.

Enzo really hasn't impressed me so far either beyond a few nice dinks.

Sell Odoi Ziyech and Sterling borrow Chuk who I don't like on the 10 and get Olise for 35m and Kudus for 40-45m. Lets go

He's recovering from a serious hamstring problem, but for £35m... yeah I'm probably in for £35m. Kudus is a no brainer though fmpov kind of confused no one has moved on him already.

Kudus is a ready made, slot in for the first game sort of player who would suit Pochball perfectly. For about the same price I don’t know why we haven’t bought him already instead of chasing a dude who will be out with a serious injury for who knows how long.

Liverpool have looked shaky as hell defensively during their preseason so Kudus’s direct, aggressive running would cause chaos against them.

Two hopes: 1. he is going through a gruelling fitness regime, might be fatigued AF and behind the others for fitness but with time he would get there and 2. if we sign a proper DM maybe we see a better Enzo.

But yeah, I'm nervous.

so, fuck,

assuming that bid was around £90m, the cunts really are holding out for around £100m

arfffffffffffffffffffff

I think the compromise in the end will be we "overpay" for Sanchez to make the Caicedo fee lower.

Would mean we've "won" from a technical standpoint and save Brighton some cash as they have a sell on clause with Caicedo's previous team.
