The kit reveal will be the most exciting thing to happen this week.

Be another quiet week on the transfer front.

Likely.

Id say choosing comfort and clapping fans over competing in the PL is lacking ambition

Competing? Lacking ambition?

City are 90% likely going to win the league again next year and we 90% won’t be competing for anything major next season.

What would he want to come here for, at age 29, when we could be at least 2 or 3 seasons away from being really competitive for trophies? If it was City or Liverpool I could see a move easily being wanted. Us? Not so much.

More chance than Roma doing anything in the next decade

Shame Dybala chose to stay, would have added goals and experience. He has been persistently injury prone and he / Mou have figured out an arrangement to work around it, I guess the lower intensity league plus the fact it is beautiful Italy is a strong draw to stay there and just enjoy football while he can.

I am really hoping we see something concrete about Caicedo pop up today that implies it is done very soon... I like him but honestly if it will take up our whole team for 3 weeks at a crucial time like this I'd rather just grab someone else and work on this slowly in the background with no pressure as a potential added bonus but the pressure on Brighton to sell a player that wants to leave more than on us as a team in a desperate situation.

We’ve been negotiating for 1 player for over a month it feels like. After doing a lot of the legwork with Brighton when we wanted him in January already. And it STILL isn’t done.

And with such a massive transfer it has to be holding up all the rest of our moves. Surely there has to be some urgency to get it done this week before we fly out for the tour. We can’t have all of our rivals having their new midfields settled and ready for preseason games whilst we don’t. City with Kova, Arse with Rice, Liverpool with Szobo & Mac Allister, and United with Mount all will be done before they fly off to their tours.

Controversy[edit]

In October 2021, a 22-year old woman filed a legal complaint against Wahi for violence that resulted in her being incapable to work. She claimed that he had punched her in the nose during an evening out at the L'Entrepôt nightclub in Lattes, Hérault, on the night of 12–13 September a month earlier. [13]

In November 2021, it was revealed by investigative reporter Romain Molina that Wahi had been expelled from Caen's youth academy for allegedly pressuring secondary school students to masturbate in front of him in the bathrooms.

No thanks

The only way this strategy makes sense is if it is to be spread across 3 clubs owned by BlueCo (assuming another is coming in Portugal as rumoured), but somehow the rumours are all directly for these kids to come to Chelsea. It absolutely does not make sense for Chelsea FC to spend this much money on this many prospects, we've been here before and are clearing them all out now..
