Ah got you, my bad.

The point remains tho; RM can go after Calciedo because they already have senior players in that role. We'd be relying on a 21 coming from a smaller club. Big clubs aren't allowed to do that. It just does not work.

Real Madrid had their eye on Nkunku and Arsenal and United had their eye on Caicedo.

Don't forget that we will still keep some players like Reece, Chilwell, Thiago, Fofana, Sterling and Enzo.

It won't all be rookies.

Last year no one cared about Havertz, Jorginho, Mount and Kanté leaving and now everyone is worried.

I don't know what to think, honestly.

Yes, but so far they are definitely on the rookie side of things.

Last season the likes of Mudryk played like shit, but we only remember that Mount had a poor season filled with injuries. Reece had a bad season too, same with Chilwell. Sterling was awful! It's fine to say that nothing worked last season, but then rate all players thru the same lenses.

Dude we don't have a midfield to field tomorrow if we were to play. We are waiting for this fabled 21yo from fucking Brighton so we can have 11 starters worth a damn.

hey if you like the status quo, then all power to you. For me, this is all crap and it's going to crap next season unless we move to signing more senior players ASAP.

We need a top striker, a winger at least, besides Caicedo, another midfielder.

Kepa doesn't convey to me and we need another goalkeeper and I worry that Poch trusts Kepa.

At least, we need this.

By the way, what players do you suggest?

Scouting the market is not my job, nor is it something I like to do...sounds like too much work to be fun. I think we need more than that, esp wingers.

Having a top striker is overrated, if nkunku turns out to be a good player, then he's good enough in my book. We all hope he's not a Morata in front of the the goal, but I rather have an excellent player playing #9 than a good "competent" "proper" striker playing #9, but that goes into personal pref.

I'm more worried with the building of the squad than specific areas and specific names.

the extremes is also what worries me.

we need at least one player of a high level with the end product

who kepa will be our number 1? jesus christ

he needs to be number 2 ffs

Kepa was very good under 3 managers: Sarri, Tuchel and Potter. Only bad under worst defensive manager we ever saw. I'm sure it will be good under Poch.

He will be OK, which is all we need atm

The only reason Kepa is still at the club is because he's unsellable. Chelsea will be the only big club in his career.

I think he's awful, but considering the squad we are building, don't think Kepa will make or break anything.

Still plenty of time, window just opened but teams ideally want to have transfers done before pre season.

Spurs are doing good moves. Vicario and Maddison plus are after CB now. New manager as well and should get one LB and they ready to go. Keep Kane ofc. Arsenal also doing good moves with Rice, Havertz and Timber. I do find it weird that they are so easily throwing 2 of 3 starting MFs after their best season in 2 decades. Newcastle got great MFer, just what they needed. With CL they will be more active on transfers for sure. City is City don't need to do much, just cosmetic changes. Liverpool will completely refresh MF area and will have better season. United is making zero improvement with Mount and Onana. What a stupid way to spend over 100m. Basically their whole budget. We are doing great with sales but let's wait and see arrivals. So if we draw the line today us and United are far away from top4. My opinion.

Potentially David Raya?  He is 27 which is very young for a keeper and his contract runs out for next season an I think as the transfer window goes on, Brentford will be reluctantly willing to sell him for a cheaper fee. Maybe around £25m I reckon. PL proven and has been brilliant in both seasons. Brilliant technically and great reflexes. Not the biggest keeper, but he is actually very commanding in the box and don't often recall moments where his height has let him down.
