Tomo 21,751
I would love Mane if he still had something in the tank but he's absolutely finished at the top level. Even as early as 20/21 some Liverpool fans I know were comparing his decline to Alexis Sanchez. MoroccanBlue 5,380
Let's be real, its a nothing rumor. It makes zero sense for a magnitude of reasons and I can say with almost 90% certainty this rumor is pure 'putting two and two together'. Poch next Chelsea Manager? Poch wants certain players? Mane used to play under Poch? Mane having Bayern uncertainty? I know, let's create a Mane to Chelsea rumor.

It’s weird, when Mané first left Liverpool fans were seemingly okay with it because he wasn’t pulling up trees towards the end of his time there. But during those months earlier in the season when Liverpool were down in the mud struggling with us I saw a lot of those same fans blaming the lack of Mané’s killer mentality and aggression for their woes. He does seem like the kind of guy that has accomplished everything and doesn’t really have the fire anymore. Probably best to avoid. bigbluewillie

I actually think they got replacing Mane spot on and the decline of their results were nothing to do with losing him (midfield issues mainly). Luis Diaz wouldn't have looked out of place competing against prime Mane let alone this version. They’ll be thinking to themselves that they can pull a Newcastle next season and push for top 4. Zero chance they’d sell their star keeper who is a massive fan favorite. Martinez himself had some quotes I saw on Twitter in last week or two about how much he loved Villa and wasn’t thinking about leaving. Wait and see us drop 120m on Rice through desperation although for half the price he’s exactly what we need. Premium quality MF players are going to be an issue to find so selling someone like Kova, particularly to City or United who will offer more £ than Bayern, would be so Boehly-Eghbali retarded its out of this world. Also Emi Martinez no thanks - go and get a proper GK ffs. Not competent enough for a possession based team and also seems to be under the impression he is some sort of world class GK when in reality he was a bench warmer at several clubs for about 10 years.
