I'm not in a rush to sign Caicedo for big money. There were a few projections earlier today of how our first choice line-up could look after the close of the window. Neither of the two I looked at included Denis Zakaria, but I would really like to see him given time to make an impact with the the new group of options ahead of him, and behind him come to that.

Yeah, I’d target him in the summer if we can clear a couple of midfielders out but it feels extremely unnecessary now if we land Enzo.

Assuming the negotiations have stretched that long, they clearly have not been about nothing. I don't know about anyone else, but I've had enough of trying to guess what's going on. I've made enough attempts at it already. The people in the room will let us know the outcome when they're done. 🙂

Its more than 120m euros, it's amazing these negotiations can be done in less than a week, muss less 2 days

Hakim has probably bought into the idea of being a regular rotation option, perhaps backing up more than one starter, so that he will get a reasonable number of minutes. Also in Paris there is probably no danger of him having to take a pay cut to secure the move. It would only be natural if that is also a factor for him.

No way we get Enzo and Caicedo. Would be madness. But hey ho who knows. Personally think Caicedo is good but not worth more than 50m
