Tielemans is not a DM but rather a deep playmaker. Good player, but doesn’t help our issue of getting run through like a tissue paper when the ball is turned over. 

Not being in for Douglas Luiz is puzzling, though. He’d be just what we need and for a decent price.

Btw, all the noise about Zaha has died down completely. So it’s pretty clear he’s not moving anywhere.

Personally happy with that. We are not Bayern, we should look for quality from teams better than us, not scrape the literal bottom of the barrel for anything remotely usable…

They’ve had Gvardiol add another year to his contract. He was already signed up until 2026, so this new contract was almost surely to add a set buyout clause. Wonder if it’ll put us off next window.
