they have only 15 plyers worth anything over £10m

5 that interest me

GK André Onana
CB Milan Skriniar
CB Alessandro Bastoni
CB Stefan de Vrij
CB Zinho Vanheusden
LB Robin Gosens
LB Federico Dimarco
RB Denzel Dumfries
DMF Marcelo Brozovic
DMF Kristjan Asllani
CMF Nicolò Barella
AMF Hakan Calhanoglu
SS Joaquín Correa
CF Lautaro Martínez
CF Andrea Pinamonti

It would just be such perfect karma if they have to do a quick fire sale of anyone half decent and Lukaku ends up fighting relegation.

Broja signed a 5 year contract with us last year.there should be no fight to keep him.

i understand some youngsters wanting to leave for more gametime if we stacked in their position.but really all we have ahead of him is Havertz.plenty of game time for him,he’s a good fit for what Tuchel wants at CF.he leaves for West Ham then in a few years he’ll want to play for a big club again and West Ham will do what they doing with Rice.

peak hype starting, lol

Chelsea have missed out on their own Ronaldinho as Barcelona seal £55m deal for Tuchel target

The Blues came close to securing the signature of the Leeds star but lost of due to Raphinha's dream move

Hopefully we have another CB target ready to immediately switch our focus to if we get fucked over on Koundé. We can’t afford to get dragging out this search for too much longer.

Gvardiol, going by reports.

It didn't take long to finish Koulibaly's transfer when it became clear De Ligt was off the table so hopefully there will be a similar Plan B in the pipeline if Kounde ends up at Barca.

At least unlike Raphinha deal it shouldn't take too long to clear this one out. Sevilla want a deal done this week and going by reports Kounde himself also wants to settle his future ASAP one way or the other. Also looks like Barca will be selling more future income tomorrow in another terribly shortsighted cash grab deal so they should have the funds required to match the bid if they want to. After that it's up to the player himself and hopefully he won't take long to decide.

his release clause doesn't kick in until summer 2023

RB Leipzig would ask insane money to sell now

I feel like they would entertain an offer of around 70m~ with addons. Whether that's deemed as value is another story.

Don’t think Leipzig will allow Gvardiol to leave this summer.

The trouble with all these super highly rated CB’s that remain is that they’re all so sought after by other top clubs. If we switch attention to Skriniar we’d risk getting gazumped by PSG. De Ligt and Bremer now off the table.

We might be royally screwed if Koundé chooses Barca. Which is why I’m fine if we overpay a bit. We bloody need him.

if the Kounde deal is actually scuppered by Barca,

and

if you take Gvardiol (2023 release clause in only viable way to buy him) off the board

then we are down to these CB buy options

Milan Skriniar
Alessandro Bastoni
Pau Torres
José María Giménez
Presnel Kimpembe
Evan Ndicka

Robin Le Normand
Stefan de Vrij
Merih Demiral
Gonçalo Inácio
Roger Ibañez

Thilo Kehrer
Odilon Kossounou
Castello Lukeba
Maxence Lacroix
Abdou Diallo
Piero Hincapié
Adam Webster
David Carmo
Min-jae Kim
Attila Szalai
Armel Bella-Kotchap

Raphinha case v2 🤐

Nothing alike. Raphina was waiting on Barca and would only come here if literally nothing can be done. The Kounde situation is nothing close to that infact if anything it seems like he slightly favours coming here.

Also on a semi related note I hope the fact a player is open to coming here despite clearly being a back up plan (after MDL fell through) means many supporters will stop being so precious with not wanting players who don't see us as first choice.
