Süle would be a definite upgrade on AC. Christensen is a solid CB who is good at most things but not great at anything. If he ends up staying I would be okay with it but if he goes I won’t even think about him again or miss him. He’s not crucial to the defense like Thiago and Rüdiger are. He’s a nice player who has really benefited from our system. 

We get any of Süle, Ginter, or Koundé to replace him and we improve the XI. Süle is a man mountain who is also extremely comfortable in the ball. To the point where watching him play is almost comical because it just doesn’t look right seeing someone so massive moving like he does.

Just to add, now is the perfect time to cut ties with Azpilicueta. 

Club legend and all but we have vastly outgrown him. We need more technical players.

Body type like Maguire but isn’t a clumsy refrigerator in the ball.

I don't understand why you want Ginter but not Sule? Ginter isn't even as good as Sule lol.

Ginter is decent but i don't think he is a starter material for a big clubs.

When another source starts giving details, I will believe something is being attempted. I know he has a history with Tuchel, but so does Pulisic and Tuchel is not shy about leaving him on the bench. I love the natural talent that Dembele has, but the attitude and injuries are hard to get excited about.

Selling Werner for 40m and getting Dembele for free is good job imo

Yup. maybe not quite as fast as he was before, but he was one of the fastest players in bundesliga in terms of top speed before and still is very quick for a defender. I think he recovered better than Zouma and quicker. But it is no coincidence he has a lot of niggling injuries. Mostly back and knee problems. He is not naturally built to play an endurance based sport on a top level.  If he was born in the US, he would probably be an NFL tight end or offensive center now. That is why i said slight and not definite upgrade. The player himself, yes, is an upgrade but i do have doubts about his career longevity.

At leas the had covid twice already so might be immune for another few months^^

It's almost a certainty there will be a notable clearance in regards to our attackers come the summer.

Imagine having a squad last season that was harmonious and one with a strong camaraderie and then buying Lukaku and potentially Dembele.
