jandomi10 82
With Kai Havertz not in the squad today, it is believed that he is talking with his agents about a possible transfer. Chelsea most interested right now. No muscular injury.

Let's hope Granny can pull some magic. However, like you I am also a bit of a Granny sceptic in that I think she is fine at buying players with buy outs (or gentleman agreements), not so great at when she has to negotiate and I really cannot see her willing to deal with Ranola. That said, if we do get it done, I hope we have some buyers for the likes of Barkley, Baka, Batsh*t etc lined up otherwise we are going to have a squad size of 35+ next year. Not surprised by this. We made deal with Timo and we will pay the clause. After we do medicals we will just give that money to Leipzig so no issue here. Gabriel S 7
Werner to Chelsea... Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. (Sky Sports, June 5). Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have 12 days to trigger Timo Werner's release clause if they want to sign him for less than £50m. The Germany international striker's €55m (£49m) release clause at RB Leipzig runs out on Monday, June 15 (Sky Sports, June 3). Werner was persuaded to join Chelsea after receiving almost daily phone calls from Frank Lampard over the last few weeks (The Times, June 6); Frank Lampard and Petr Cech made an undercover pre-lockdown trip to Germany that helped Chelsea leapfrog Liverpool and Manchester United to convince Timo Werner to move to Stamford Bridge. (Daily Telegraph, June 6). Chelsea plan to balance the books this summer with a series of outgoings after sealing the £54m signing of Werner. (Daily Star, June 6); Chelsea's bid for player pay cuts looks doomed after landing Werner. Gabriel S 7
Chelsea are also monitoring the Brentford winger Saïd Benrahma. The Algerian could be available for £15m. (Guardian) Vesper
