With what the Saudis are doing with newcastle, will rather have them. no interference. leave the manager to do his job

They were keen on Chelsea as well but Roman preferred Boehly's bid for some reason.

Imagine if they get United and invest heavily whilst we continue our slide from top 4 to mid-table.

Football conspiracy theory: What if Eghbaly was conspiring with his clients to take down Chelsea and let Newcastle take its place as a top 4 club?👽

Before anyone gets upset or decides to chuck an insult, I was only joking.

'When Boehly stepped aside as Chelsea's interim sporting director, he heralded the 'world-class' credentials of those taking over.

His exhaustive search had taken the best part of a year and Boehly courted prestigious candidates to lead his bold tomorrow such as Michael Edwards, formerly of Liverpool, Paul Mitchell, of Monaco, and Christophe Freund of Salzburg. There were talks with Luis Campos of Paris Saint-Germain, Andrea Berta of Atletico Madrid, and Monchi at Sevilla - what a coup that would have been to fill the void left by Marina Granovskaia.

Then Boehly and Behdad Eghbali abandoned the big names, hired two people who had never done the job before and decided they should share the role.

In came Paul Winstanley, after leading Chelsea's strategy in the January transfer window. , along with Lawrence Stewart.'

Whenever I listen to Boehly speak about what they are trying to build, I don’t have any misgivings. Some of the blunders are hard to swallow, but if they stick to their vision of a multi club model and making the academy even stronger, I think they can get there.

Current owners are here for a while - as long as they learn from their mistakes -ie you need qualified, experienced back room staff

So you aren't happy with the way one set of billionaires are running a football club compared to another you can see why fans have turned their back on football bruv it's a game for the mega rich who piss on the mega poor.

We are 10 points away from relegation zone, and we wont win another game this season. At this point there is no way Todd Boehly will invest 2.5 billion in a new stadium, he probably is asking himself why in the hell he decided to buy a "soccer" club in the first place.  We are no Manchester United or Barcelona, and the club relied heavily on trophies, European football and top 4 PL finish. The club right now faces a very dark future: huge debts coming from 500m used to buy mediocre players, poor results will affect the finances (less prize money, less money from sponsors, less money from tv, less money from ticket sales), I'm afraid the club is going down the Leeds route...

WTF are him and his cronies waiting for.

Just get a real coach in now.

Or announce it.

They're probably hoping for Poch also to slink away so that they can appoint the Australian coach they always fancied.

More time him and Eghbali take to do what is right, the more time fans will continue to turn on them - deservedly so also.

Sack Frank. Get Poch in. Give him the 6 games or whatever to figure out who he wants to work with and who he doesn’t.

Already wasted best part of a season so why are we hanging around?

Can we cut the shit with "money used to buy mediocre players"?

Everyone on here was gagging for the players we got post Tuchel, and now apparently they suck. Ridiculous really.

We made great signings. Clearly - the talent level of the players isn't the issue.
