Well Gallagher is on the table from what was said in January  it doesn't matter that he is our best player . They will cash out Chalobah , Maatsen etc  pure Cobham profit to balance the books .

What they did as 1bn spend, they will probably do it again in a few years by selling their already established purchases like Mudrik, Enzo, Palmer, James (if Madrid calling he is gone) whether it will be a profit or not is not clear, but they will turn the wheel once again with ''talents from all over the world'' like Leipzig do. It's just that they are not at Chelsea to build a team to win on the field now , but rather to make money mercandise , global  young product  pr nonsense  trust the process .

We have to think about why, when they had the opportunity, they did not buy elite players for half of this bn, but made a kindergarten.

I see nothing that suggest this is true.

Implement Red Bull module , MultiClub project , low wage structure , development manager , players  pr nonsense  like ''we want Osimhen'' but we have limit on the wages (cannot get any top level player). Downgrade on every department in the club  like manager ,directors , players .  If they wanted to be successful, they would only chase the top level not kids .

When Abramovich came he took Peter Kenyon directly from Man U because he wanted to be at the top asap . Top manager , top director , top players  that was the level at Chelsea at the time .

Funny enough, they could at least get top talents if they want kids. They rejected Endrick to get losers like Noni Madueke and Mudryk.

Fair point . Bellingham is also a kid but proven with experience and with a salary that Ted Lasso can't give . Even the super talents we supposedly attract on the books are from mediocre clubs .  Our managment is poor , guys from  feeder clubs like Monaco and Brighton who have never been to a top club before . That's saying all ,these yankies don't have idea about football .

"This player is really good, you can SELL him"

Typo, or joke?

I know Wyss is on a mission to bring down Chelsea’s wage bill and make it a cheap side.

But is he actually aiming to move out any quality player the club has, to make a profit? Turning it into a feeder club like Brighton?

Looks like Clearlake's master plan is just to take advantage of the club's huge fanbase, who think that the club will return to winning ways in the future, and therefore spend money on it. All the while, Clearlake is constructing a cheap side that never has a hope in hell for truly challenging the elite sides.

I will walk away if that is truly the case (feeder club ambitions).

I will not invest my life energy into some yank billionaires for-profit schemes
