best chance we have to win this competition is to get palemiras to pens.

Also, after this how can anyone say that the system is real the problem, not the quality of our attackers?

Our attackers are basically playing against cones today and still can't score to save their lives. The whole lot are just not good enough.

Our offence is shambles

Can’t believe we are gonna lose this title again

will need a miracle in the final

Palmeiras is no joke

even with those 2 young star CMF's (Patrick de Paula and Gabriel Menino) booted off the tourney team (de Paula is tossing all his toys out the pram over it) and their 19yo star winger Gabriel Veron out with Covid, they are pretty loaded

and they are so thirsty for this trophy

they won the first ever 'world' club trophy (Rio Cup 1951)

and have failed every time since, they are obsessed for decades with being world champs again

all time winningest Brasil club (most all Brasil league tiles)

106 total trophies in their history (some minor, of course)

and they have tens of thousands of fans who travelled

they are all out attack and have tonnes of pace

all they lack is a CF, but Rony is dangerous as a false 9, and even with no Veron they are loaded at winger/AMF

Danilo is a really solid 20yo DMF, he will soon be in a Big 5 league

their back 4 is pretty solid, just not truly WC, and they are missing their teen sensation CB, Renan, a 19yo (although I doubt he would start in this final)

and they have a great young manager who I profiled on here years ago (Abel Ferreira) who is the first back to back Copa Libertadores-winning non SA manger

they are going to be a handful

just our luck, as the last time there was a Brasil side this good in the past 15 years was in 2012, when Corinthians beat us, ffs, and this is arguably a better team than that, although so are we (than our 2012/13 side), IF we fucking can snap out of our offensive funk)

I am absolutely dreading this

on form we are underdogs

Can see us getting smacked

need some tactical master stroke to beat them

their players would all be worth double if they played in europe

at least a mid table Pl team quality wise but with superior motivation

all of the following could play in the EPL (or soon in terms of the teens)

DMF Danilo
CMF Patrick de Paula
CMF Gabriel Menino
RW Gabriel Veron
RW Dudu
LW Rony
AMF Raphael Veiga
CB Renan
CB Gustavo Gómez
AMF Gustavo Scarpa
LW Wesley
GK Weverton
RW Giovani
DMF Eduard Atuesta
CMF Zé Rafael
LB Jorge
LB Joaquín Piquerez
RB Marcos Rocha (for sure if he was not 33yo)
