When he was pressured however the frailties were on show. Some of that can be cured I think. He seems to me to be one of those players who feels he looks good because he takes his time rather than being good because his technique and calm speed of thought makes it look like he has time. The difference between those can be learned if a player has enough self awareness. Whether doing this would help Malang make it has to be in doubt in however. He was struggling to get in the game and gave away a couple of unnecessary free kicks because he wanted to be seen to be trying to get stuck in. If he is to get acclimatised at all it seems likely to take a good few more games. Another big reason to be pleased that we went through last night and earned extra potential minutes for Saul.
