Ouch! I was unlucky too when I was younger as my fingers used to get bruised nearly every time I played Basketball. Sadly, this has forced me to give up playing on a regular basis and becoming a pro. But to have a broken nose that ofter, must have been very, very painful!

Trust me, it was! But I sticked to Basketball and still play on a weekely basis. Up to a few month back I was still on my university basketball team, but I quit because I wasn't getting game time I really didn't have time anymore.

I'm still playing basketball, even for my school's team, but a lot of people thought I could make it to the Austrian pro league if I just kept practicing hard, but as I already said, getting my fingers bruised almost every game was enough to let it down and focus on other parts of my life more. Anyway, I'm still a beast from the 3pt-line (scoring above 46% this season)
