City representatives spoke to Haaland’s father a couple of weeks ago which, means their top brass have already sanctioned a potential transfer and the wheels are in motion.

Of course, they give no fucks about ffp, they own ffp.

To get their fans excited for the sake of it? Out of the two, I would think Real Madrid are more likely to make a big money signing this summer because Florentino Perez might just find a way.

I got a feeling he's up to something as well, they've barely spent the past two windows yet won the La Liga.

Dortmund are 4 points behind the Top 4, with 8 games to go in the Bundesliga...

Yeah, but there next game is to Frankfurt who are the team 4 points ahead. They lose that it is 7 points with 7 to go and Dortmund have a slightly harder run in than Frankfurt.

Wolfsburg's (in 3rd) run in is very difficult but if Dortmund lose to Frankfurt, they could be 10 points ahead if they win their next game. Also, Dortmund and Wolfsberg have to play each other in 3-4 rounds time so it would all in Wolfsberg's and Frankfurt's hands.

FFP is dead. Good riddance as well, it was a cartel system that was illegal. This is why Juve, Barca, Real, Utd and the Dippers are now trying to create permanent places for themselves in the CL/pushing hard for league reform/a Super League.

What is interesting about Håland is if you read on Redcafe a lot of them think we are his best option (although they think he will go to City owing to money/Pep.)

Reasons they make for this is:

A) If his fee has to be made upfront, only City, Chelsea or PSG can afford him.

B ) No one really thinks he will go to France as it is a poor league.

C) Of City and Chelsea we play a style more suited to him and have the greatest need for a CF.

Honestly, after reading through their thread, it has kind of made me think that from a footballing perspective, we may actually be his best option.

Yeah thats true KK, but still the rules are the rules and City themselves promised to abide by them or no CL for them. Yet they stamped on FFP and bribed their way out as always. Yeah fuck those so called historic clubs.

Giroud and Tammy would both need to be sold.

Werner/Haaland/Havertz + Pulisic/Mount/Ziyech all fighting for three spots. Maybe two if Mount is utilised deeper. Can this be accomplished without a hectic dressing room?

Well doable, plenty games to go around and im sure TT can handle it.

City didn't bribe their way out, they found holes in the system. That particular hole being the statute of limitations. Still think they are being looked at under a microscope after that incident.

They did bribe, 2 of the 3 overseer/ judges were connected to City in one way or the other. In no shape or form should they have got free of all the BS they did. Vesper knows more about it im sure she will have that covered soon.

Their last aftermath where all their shady shit were revealed. They went to court and got off with a fine. General footy section here you will find the links how they didnt get punished.

Yeah I'd like to see some links proving the bribery as an actual fact. Far as I've read, they did perform illegal actions but were saved by the statute of limitations.

Aguero, Jesus, B. Silva, Torres, Mahrez, Foden, Sterling. If they can do it, we can do it.

No of course I cant prove they bribed but when 2 of the judges were in City's pocket then thats a possibility. From top to buttom they are shady as fuck. We all know how the likes of Qatar won the world cup election, the game is dirty.

But does Haaland see it that way about us though? Reports say he isn't interested over joining us.

The problem with us is that we have always shown the potential, the promise of being great, especially since 2012/13 but we have never really fulfilled that potential. We have always gone from tasting success to failure or failure to success within two seasons but never in the middle, never found a middle ground. It's always been boom or bust with us. We have not been a dominant force domestically (like City, Liverpool in recent years) or in Europe (like we used to be in the late 2000s).

If Haaland's reaction after the game at the weekend is anything to go by, I suspect somewhere like City might be more for him. Less volatile, more chances of success, more stability than us. We are building potentially a great squad but we still don't know where exactly we're heading and if Tuchel or whoever can get us there.
