Jype 6,398
Shocking to see that some 'fans' have abused him so much today that he was forced to delete his Twitter account which he only created a few weeks ago. He seemed really happy about this new way of communicating with the fans but people said some unimaginable things to him after the Juventus game and honestly I can't blame him if he doesn't wish to read things like that. A fucking disgrace, as a certain Chelsea legend once said.

Leif 6,006
Er, can someone even confirm that the reason for him closing his Twitter account was due to fan critisisms? Until that point, no one should be accused of being the reason for him closing his Twitter even if they did send him this so-called 'abuse'. Liquidator 5,176
Some of our 'fans' are an absolute joke. I don't care what he did yesterday or over the last few years he does not deserve abuse from people like on Twitter. People need to respect him regardless of what he does as a football player. The abuse of Kalou on his account was sickening too. Another celebrity forced to close their account because of some internet trolls who think they know about football. zolayes

Kojo 4,676
Lmao, how predictable for this thread to a flurry of activity after last night while Terry's thread has next to nothing, despite him being culpable in both of Juve's goals and being put to shame when compared to his Italian equivalent in Chiellini.Chiellini is in his prime, John Terry is getting old. A fucking disgrace, as a certain Chelsea legend once said.I hate Mikel as a player, but there's no need in that. I like him as a person, the same case for Kalou, there both really nice people. That's just shocking, i remember how horrible the fans where to Kalou telling him to die and that for the handball against Valencia. Just shocking, and for an excuse it was 'why is he mad about it?, the guy gets 60 grand a week', at the end of the day they're still people. DYC. 7,542
If it wasn't for Luiz being so alert and defending well, Lampard's horrible back-pass probably would've led to a Juve goal. Just saying. He messed up bad, so did Terry, but why are the reactions to him messing up always so much worse compared to when others make a mistake? Kojo 4,676
Mikel is an easy scapegoat, that's why. He's not an easy scapegoat at all, everyone disagreed with me about a month ago, now that he's been putting in these shit performances people are now starting to see. He isn't reliable enough, against Juventus he shouldn't of had too much of a problem, the game wasn't fast paced and he didn't have to react quick or run as much. And just when it was his chance to put in a decent performance, he put in the worst sloppy passes in the world.Everytime we where gaining momentum he was misplacing passes and giving it back to Juve, and he's meant to be our safe player, the player you can pass to, too release the pressure, and he was the one giving the fucking ball away all the time. Not good enough by Mikel and it makes me wonder, if he can't play well in these sort of games he's hopeless. But what are you going to say?, that Tiote isn't good enough because Newcastle got results without him?, well look at that against Everton, Newcastle got fucking smashed without Tiote, and managed to get a point, but with Everton dominating the game and having two goals not allowed even though they should of been allowed. And they got smashed off Aston Villa... Tiote is just what we needed.
laeth 527
Juventus put a lot of pressure on Mikel and Lampard as they were outnumbered in midfield by like 5-2. Mikel just needs to work on his passing while under heavy pressure.
