Leif 6,006
Yup, any legends like Drogba who could be used in a coach role would benefit the youth far more than the first team. But, when you're at this age, you don't want to start another day to day job, you want to finally live off of all the money you've made over your career. So i doubt we'll be getting any legends returning as full-time coaches at all. It's too contrived and expected of them. I don't sense they actually desire it. LDN Blue 7,903
Didier Drogba's charity cleared of fraud, but criticised for undermining public's trust Cleared of Daily Mail's accusations of fraud, but shows how much money the foundation has wasted of 'lavish parties' instead of doing the work they actually promised to do. Hopefully Drogba will sort this out, but goes to show how 'charity' really works lol.. Blue Armour

Hopefully Drogba will sort this out, but goes to show how 'charity' really works lol.. Charities are always like this. You throw lets say 10k yourself, 10k through partners/sponsors, you get 100k back as charity money, you split 50k back to partners, you take 10k (or more) back. Generaly one can say "charity" gets 40k, much better than nothing, but usualy that sum is less than half of total money. Its just a fancy way of making easy money and look cool. Charities in most cases are frauds, because rich people make even more money through them. Dont think for second that partners/sponsors/persons make charities for free. Besides all the charity money they take back, they usualy get alot of advertisement, which makes them even more money eventualy. We had a case here for children, people were giving old phones to be recycled and money given to children to fund holidays. There was alliance (dont know the right word, but some sort of county club) that started this "charity" and advertised through sponsors (which were some of famous companies from my country). Anyway it turned out that money collected from charity, more than half of it went back to sponsors, that alliance took more than they spent for organisation too. Rest, which was less than 30% was given for children's holidays. Now some kids still went to holidays, but you can see the point. Charities are benefiting for both sides, but that "all the money will go to children" is biggest lie there is. Same is with unicef etc. Sure they give money to poor, but alot less than what they recieve. Sure they need to spend some for continious funding of company to operate, but you will always find rich people who get even richer by these charity false advertisements. One might argue that charity people are the kindest, but usualy they are biggest cunts you can meet (not pointing at Drogba, since he did alot for Africa, but just saying generaly, obviously there are exceptions). But its all peoples fault. They get convinced too quick. Just becsuse you see it on tv, doesnt mean its true.
