Tbf we all thought the same thing prior to the Barca game and in all fairness we did pretty well. Only thing is its almost impossible which Chelsea will turn up now a days.

The only chance of beating them I think, is after they trash Arsenal again on Thursday they won’t bother playing and like good pals let us win.

They have a big cushion as it is, they’ll be champions in a month.

Time to write this game off, we lack heart and desire, everything City have.

Don't know if heart has anything to do with it (showed it against Barca) but more about lack of creativity. A decent RWB & CF would have seen us coast to victory against Utd.

 

Think this game is a perfect time to try a few different players out ahead of Barca.

Our defense and middle were shaky against united too. Just a bit pedantic at times giving up possession far too easily, which showcased the lack of creativity you referred to.

Truth is that no matter who plays and what the starting line up is, we just don't have a great team. It's a good team, but just not good enough to compete against the top clubs.

I agree but Conte's choices today didn't help either. Our strongest point and arguably the best in the league is our defence, so we have to work around our strength for the remainder of the season and hope whoever leads the line delivers.

Of course its that time of the year where we hope our opponents start losing matches so we still have a chance. For me Top 4 looks over after today United was the easiest of the bunch and we fucked up.

No good just getting up for a game with Barcelona if you can't show heart against United. Lets not talk about creativity when our coach hauls off the best player we have on with 20-25 minutes left, it just doesn't wash.
