Looks like this is happening with his agents flying to London as we type -and Palmieri definitely is.

Always thought he was a beast at Citeh and even with his age -the physique and build means we should get a couple of years out of him, maybe more like Ibrahamovich. He will definitely get goals.

they sold him far too early, and for 11m euros.  Idiotic move

An absolute far cry from Andy Carroll, this will be a really good bit of business by the club.

quite a good deal i agree with Dzeko.   Admittedly i was genuinely coming round to the idea of Carroll slowly on a loan deal.. the rest though no chance

We shud have gone for sanchez to fill our rw/st department

2 in 1 player

Lack of ambition at our club is gonna hurt us bad

Ye and what will the rest of the team say when we have to pay him 500k a week? This isn't ultimate team.

Yep, the Sanchez deal actually came down to a matter of principle for City and probably us for that matter. The weekly wage is nothing short of pathetic, not only that but the benchmark it sets for not just the present, but the future is massively important. If we are playing FIFA or Football Manager it's a deal you do, in the real world it's a huge, huge risk. It's a risk for that reason but his age is also prominent, merge that with the fact he will now be keeping the likes of Martial/Rashford out of the side it just stagnates others for what? Yeah I know what 500k a week.

Mental

What do u think hazard is gonna ask for now after he sees what sanchez is earning at united

Sanchez could have atleast saved our season with a good run in cl or a close 2nd finish

At our current form we are gonna barely hold on to 3rd/4th place if we are lucky

Latest: Conte may have persuaded Dzeko to accept Chelsea

According to our sources, Antonio Conte called the Bosnian striker in order to persuade him to join the Blues.

Dzeko is not better than Morata. For all of Morata's faults this season, he is comfortably the better striker of the two. He works tirelessly, is better on the ball and is on par with Dzeko in the air, Dzeko has the edge in hold-up play and finishing and is a fantastic option to bring on to change games but first choice? No, it's a wrong move.

I agree, however given Morata’s recent form, Edin must be surely licking his lips (even though he isn’t too on form himself atm).

If hazard goes and asks for 500k a week he will b told no and no other club will pay it either sanchez is been payed that much because there was no transfer fee involved just a stright swap.

With all the praise for Dzeko here, won't be surprised if people suddenly turn on him after 3-4 bad games...

It's more optimism really. I mean there is hardly anything to get excited about now as we have a 70M bloke who can't use his feet and another bloke who's actually better on Twitter than playing football.
