Short term much? Morata is 25, he should be kept at all costs, he can improve still, he has the right characteristics to be a success here. Icardi wont come here in the summer I guarantee it. I'd be very surprised if Lewandowski did too to be fair. At this moment We have Morata/Bats/Giroud. I would only happily move Morata along if we got Lewa/Icardi and probably Higuain if thats who Sarri wants. That leaves Giroud/Bats/one of the 3. If you look back through my previous posts on Morata I believe he will come good and I support him staying here. My point was about having a prime striker lined up before allowing Morata to leave, if he/club wants. Also, I was solely speaking about a 1 in 1 out with Morata. Plus did you even read my post? Direct quote "If we do NOT have a prime option at striker and let morata leave on one of those ridiculous loan with buy deals ill be livid." I agree Lewa/Icardi are incredibly unlikely, but if either agreed would you move Morata?

A loan spell playing for the second best team in Germany, scoring goals against mediocre teams doesn't make up for a year and a half worth of incredibly frustrating performances. That is fine, frankly I would agree with you. If dortmund want to spend 50 on Batman which we would then put to use to better the team while keeping Morata i would be over the moon. I was just operating under the assumption that Morata had greater market value and if he needed to move to secure someone like a Lewa/Icardi I would be willing to do it. Sideshow Luiz 2,310
In theory, Morata should be able to be very successful under Sarri (if that's what happens). Higuain has some shaky finishing too, but managed a decent return of 36 goals in 35 league matches in 15/16 Fernando, Unionjack and OneMoSalah
BlueLyon 9,359
I just hope shit hit the fan, we get Sarri in, world class striker, midfielder, sell the deadwood. Then we wake up.. DDA and Sideshow Luiz
1905didierblue 748
I dont understand how Morata changes under Sarri or any other manager for that matter. Does his finishing suddenly improve? Does his hold up play become better? We cant keep pinging balls into him in the box and become a rich stoke, can we? All the names being touted (Lewa, Icardi, Higuain) are on a complete different level compared to Morata even if 2 out of 3 are in their 30s. They are actual world class player and instantly improve the squad. There is literally no reason we should be sticking with morata. Milan 17,957
Quite a compilation that. At the beginning, those misses were not that serious, as they came in our wins, but then he cost us many points and also a better position in the CL group. The part of his game that is the most important is his weakest attribute and we are talking about a striker here! Bonkers. They go away because missing a one on one with the keeper that consistently is more of a confidence issue than a skill one. If a player isn't skilled enough to do that, he wouldn't have made it this far as a striker. Particularly one that has played for the biggest team in Italy, and the biggest in Spain. In fact, he got worse as he got older and lost his speed.
