Don't know how much truth in this story back in August? Wasnt there a £5 mill loan fee also ?So we would get most of our money back with that 1 ...if it goes down.

Chelsea transfer news: Blues risk £13m LOSS with deal agreed
CHELSEA could make a £13m loss on flop signing Tiemoue Bakayoko if the player joins AC Milan this summer.

I on the other hand don't see how it CAN work out. He is not a player for teams who want to play quick possession football. I have seen enough of him to know that even if he does generally improve dramatically, his characteristics and playing style anyway aren't suitable for a team that wants to play on the front foot. A player so technically lacking at that age will never improve to required levels.

A player so technically lacking at all doesn't improve, natural talent is either there or it ain't, if you struggle to control a football at 15 you will at 26. That's why i use to cringe when people used his youth as an excuse for Lukaku being a crap footballer and alas coming up 26 he's no better than he was when he was "only 22 ".

Lewandowski in early years was donkey on the ball too, but he improved massively. He is no Ronaldo, but he is more than good on the ball.

Bakayoko turned 24 three and a half months ago.

His passing seems to have improved:

Though, he still seems to do that thing where he dribbles aimlessly in to a dead end, then turn around looking for short pass to escape.

Where the hell was that Baka??? SMDH

Good to read such sense. I lost count of the number of times I was told I was talking rubbish for explaining that the teenage Rom was never going to develop silky technique. Oh but he's so young they said. There are many things a footballer can improve through practice but talent isn't one of them. To those tempted to disagree now, I'd say the same thing I've said to others in the past. If experience, coaching and practice are all it takes then why isn't everyone as good as Lionel Messi?

Do not get it twisted. Bakayoko is still a donkey. You would be a fool to think otherwise.

He is shit, but there is grave danger that our board will look at his 2-3 good performances and ignore the rest 100 shit ones and give him an extension.

If the transfer bans come down in the spring, and we don't do MF business in January other than sell Cesc, Kovacic cannot join, and there is a more than decent chance Baka comes back simply due to numbers. Either that or Drinkwater gets pulled out of mothballs.

Welcome ro Marinaball.

Doom:(
