How do you know he wont be a revelation at blackburn like when man utd loaned jonny evans to sunderland he went back to man utd a premiership expierenced player. If di santo is the wonderkid everyone thinks he will show glimses of his ability at blackburn. I want to watch our youngster's competing at the highest level the level we need them at.

Personally I think it's a good idea. He wont get any game time here this season. At Blackburn he will come on as at least a sub.

However if it is happening i hope he gets the games he needs. If he gets his head down works hard and bangs the goals in for Blackburn then it could turn things around for him come next season. I do believe with his quality given the playing time he can become an excellant striker, so lets see.

just have to hope Blackburn do well, while he's playing for them, and that he gets selected. He could fill the void that was left by Santa Cruz.

Don't know how much he will get used, especially if they are in a relegation dog fight, Allardyce would probably put his faith in the bigger lads who would bobble goals home through fluke rather than skill

Would have preferred he went on loan to an Italian club to test him in a league that suits him a bit better than the PL, and where he might be a bit more likely to get game time.

It's better sending him to a team in the Premiership. There would be no point sending him to Italy because that would mean he would adapt his game to there style of play when he needs to adapt to the English style.

I think he'll do well, even if he is going to be a sub. He'll do one amazing performance for them and show Carlo that he should be used in Janury when Drogs is in the ACN.
