Only way we'd ever spend near that amount on a player is if we sold Hazard for £200m in the summer. Even then I'd have my doubts. Knowing our board, if we do ever sell Eden we'll probably buy 3-4 £30m players who aren't near his level.

In the article that you posted in another thread, the author stated that his 'secret contact' who is close to the club says, 'nobody wants to join Chelsea at the moment due to the insecurity of the managerial position... Conte, will he be here next season or won't he'.

That might be a part of our problem mate But then we have never been one of those teams with player magnetism have we.

But IF there even was one of them and happened to be a dead set 1st teamer we wont get him unless we stump up for him. But there must be something going on behind the scenes money wise.

does anyone else think that is way too much for Lemar? I'd rather that money go to an icardi buyout clause...

his stats are pretty underwhelming, worse than willian and in a siginificantly worse league too...
