But who does he replace? Swapping him with either of their wide players doesn't really change anything. They get no better or worse going forward. They're already getting ridiculous production from wide areas.

He comes in for Sane straight away if the move happens. It's also not just about who he replaces this is City building a fucking absolute monster of a side where the bench is 200-300M worth of players.

They are building a squad to win everything.

You managed to respond before I noticed my mistake - Sanchez isn't in City. But the point remains, and I didn't list only bench players, but everybody they have available for that position. Even if you take Sanchez out it's still ridiculous once they add Mahrez.
