We won the league because we worked hard and fought for everything, the opposite of what is happening now. We never spent money to correct a few problems, we papered over cracks and all this thanks to the board being short sighted and naive. If we penny pinch this summer we could easily be fighting to stay up next season like a lot of this was.....Don't just think because our name is Chelsea it's all going to be alright, even Leicester will spend big and that just tells you what task we have ahead to even catch teams like them and turn this mess around. Thats the thing 2nd half of last season you could see there was issues except we won the league so like you say never addressed.Pre season also showed it but was dismissed because it was only pre season then surprise!!!!! No one played - no one collected them. I look around in case I wandered into an off limits area and the money belonged to the casino. No I did n't. Then I wait for 20 minutes in case the owner of the coins returns. Nobody came, I collect them and cash them. What merciless disaster befell the original owner though ? Must have started I reckon with some 10 thousand then when down to the last fifty he probably made it off to the nearest pond and jumped. It's the same with Chelsea this time of the year.
