The point being, agreeing to sign him for the sum of 36M is crazy based on his age. The club need a quick fix and now, we do not want to be stuck with a ageing striker as we are going back over old ground.

Come the summer, we need a top class striker.

31 years. there are a lot of players in top form at 31-32-33 years

the fact that a guy like batshuay is young, doesn't mean that he will reach higuain's level at all

many young players' best quality is their young age, and when they are on the pitch their age does'nt help them

Nah, it's minuscule at that age.

My point is we need a quick fix until summer not be tied down with an aged player.

If the terms were right I wouldn't be against an 18 month loan if it smoothed negotiations to get him in now and on the assumption we "clear the decks" with our strikers in the summer (Morata, Giroud, Batshuayi, possibly Abraham).because it still would allow us to focus on buying a new striker in the summer with a much more long term thinking (if it was someone say like Jovic or Piatek), without the immediate pressures of coming into the club and hitting the ground running if we still had someone like Higuain here.

The problem in all of this is Juventus wanting an obligation to buy if that is true because that would be ludicrous. But apparently from reports Milan weren't going to buy Higuain permanently so they could not have had an obligation to buy, I assume they had merely an option to buy. An option to buy becomes irrelevant because we can just pass on the option.

milan has an option to buy, but reality is that they have to buy him

because they can't pay 18 mil for a loan plus 9 mil to the player: ie 27 mil of red in their counts

all these voices about higuain are due to the wish of sarri to have him, and the wish of higuain to be trained by sarri

i hope i have made clear the situation :)

Remember the logic being used to buy Giroud, that he can’t be any worse than Morata.

Now basically the same argument Higuain can’t be any worse than Giroud and Morata.

Really enough with the band aid signings, need to address the issue.

That's my problem with Sarri because he is sole leader behind this move...why can't we go for a very young striker that has world class abilities...Jovic/Piatek/Werner... atleast one of those potential world class strikers...so we solve this striking issues once and for all...

I knew this deal would never work out the way we wanted it.  Juve will never offer us a deal that works for us.  They aren't stupid, this is a way they can get rid of him.  We can't saddle ourselves with buying him.  It would be like shooting ourselves in the foot with a bazooka.

would rather sign this Daigne guy for 20m than Higuain on any permanent deal. But the board seems hellbent on either Wilson or Higuain... I will never understand those lunatics.

it's Sarri who wants Higuain.  If Higuain can get anywhere near the Napoli form under Sarri we will be loving it
