Guus Hiddink says Alexandre Pato is available, but mentally and physically he might still need time to prepare.

See? Useless...more than halfway through the season, and we need to bring him back to full fitness to get anything out of this signing

This signing looks more and more useless, unbelievably....He hasn't played since November, and will probably take at least another 3-4 weeks to return to full match fitness only to play a few months of his loan period...

Maybe that would be the months we finally get more than one league win.

Yeah but at least he's not nursing an injury or anything like that. Shouldn't take long.. Not that I think it'll make any difference but hey a nice surprise would do

It's a long term signing - it's not like we don't have any options where he plays!!!!

Thats the reason we didnt buy him right? Long term signing..

I'd say the reason he was loaned is because of two reasons: the first being that he hasn't played football since the Brazilian league ends at the beginning of December. Secondly, it is because his contract expires at the start of next January therefore if he is signed in June, he will be cheaper.

This is a very clever move. If he succeeds, he will be cheaper, if not he goes back to Corinthians.

If he succeeds, what guarantees do we have that he wont go to another club when he is free to negotiate with whoever he wants?

I can see the potential in this but i dont know if we actually sitting on a straight flush hand..

Do you really think the club wouldn't have an option to buy first? Geez, even a 13 year old on Football Manager does that.

Well obviously our board doesn't play FM if we take a look at the last two transfer windows.

Rejecting a £58m bid for Oscar, signing Papy, Hector etc. I would maybe understand the board if Papy and Hector were "regens/newgens" but they are not.
