The problem is that we already know Mourinho, and we do know that sometimes he is so afraid of losing, that he makes it difficult to win.

Generally yes but in this very case alone, circumstances dictated his approach to the game.

We get a draw at Old Traford and Jose deserves to get punched in the face for it?! Fucking hell..

This is a wake up to call to everyone who thinks that we have the strongest squad in the league. Jose Mourinho, the man who knows our squad the best, thought that we would more likely lose if went there and attacked. We defended very well and got a valuable point. WTF is wrong with a point from Old Traford?! Very few teams manage that.

Had we went and attack there, it would have probably have ended up like the game vs United at OT under AVB.

Bad luck in terms of finishing. Defensively then we were too open and hopeless because we went there and played a game that doesn't really suit us. Had we done the same last night, we would probably have ended up with a defeat as well. As Choulo has alluded to, our team is not really suited to playing an attacking game right now against big teams where our dodgy midfield will be exploited. Need to be a bit streetwise in setting up the team for matches like this.

united missed a pen, berba missed an open goal, ramires' tap in got saved from 1 yard out, torres missed open goal. but in the end, united had deserved to win on that day. if the finishing was good in that match it would have ended something like 3-5 against arsenal at SB.

What worries me is that will we not play the same attacking football we used to anymore?

The whole point of this side was to play entertaining football and this is something I've really enjoyed.

So wouldn't the team go to waste if we were to play negative football?

when was the last time we played really good attacking style football against a good team. If you look back the forum you can clearly see lot of people were frustrated with the same thing.

Can't blame Jose or moyse as well. They are at two most famous positions of world of sports not just football ffs. Both of them not going to show all the cards in for the first few matches cause they know one of them will be in the losers side and clearly they can't risk it that.

our finishing was awful, our defense was at sevens and sixes and our mid was non-existent. so i seriously doubt if we deserved anything of that match.

Macheda scored a handball goal in that very same game and Evans had that horror kung fu kick.

TBF, United's defence and midfield hardly covered themselves in glory either that day. In fact, defensively as a team, United were too open and can't defend to save their lives. We exploited it till no end but just couldn't apply the finishing and we then saw City tore them to pieces weeks later. If anything, a draw then would probably have been fair.

nope. finishing is THE most important aspect of the game.you cant keep anelka on the bench, start torres over him, and then complain about finishing.
