Oh my god, the shitstorm. Anyways, I'd just like to chime in with some of my own thoughts, regardless of how shit and irrelevant they are to this current conversation:

IMO, Mourinho had his chance and yeah, both sides fucked up but people have to blame him too. Chelsea fucked up sacking and replacing every manager they hired for a long period and rehiring Mourinho was a good move, but not only did they seem to not back him as much as they could have, but Mourinho ended up selling a bunch of good young players and playing "park the bus" (dislike that term) counter attack football and kept only the guys like Mikel who were content competing from the bench. Now, how you can have this team "parking the bus" against the bigger sides is beyond me, it's not like we were the 2012 bunch, we spent a lot of money and had to rebuild the team but he still picked Ivanovic as RB when he was shit (and still is, apparently) and got rid of a bunch of good young players like KDB.

I don't like how there's some in-fighting between members here, shouldn't we all be fans of the club and not Mourinho? Having loyalty to him is fine but not when it takes over your love for the club. Also, I remember my loyalty to AVB's project (or should I say, THE PROJECT because damn that was exciting) and I disliked Lampard for a period but in the end, both sides fucked up and well, Lampard is still a legend and mistakes were made but in the end, here we are.

Yeh, that Dembele kid is one to watch, promising gem no doubt, so is the kid Emre Mor.

The quality difference between two teams is too obvious, BVB is way more superior.

Dembele was top of my summer transfer wish list. How Dortmund got him for so little is beyond me. There is no way we'd have been asked for anything less than €40m. I don't recall reading how much was bid but I do remember Dembele saying he turned us down last summer.

Refreshing to see United playing the same dross, predictable & old fashioned 4-2-3-1. Non existent pressing game, just a bunch of players sitting deep, waiting for Dortmund to give away possession so that they can break on the counter. Even when Dortmund subbed in most of their youngsters. Mourinho can't and won't get out of his comfort zone for his life and I'm so glad we got rid of him. It's like he's stuck in time and thinks that the old tactics that used to work 8-10 years ago will bail him out of jail. He is so outdated in terms of tactical aspect it's unbelievable.

At least for us, the era of our team looking confused when attacking like we didn't practice any attacking patterns is over. And even more importantly, the era of having less than 6 shots on target in 90mins against big teams is over.
