To be fair to Pedro, he was starting to come really good before his last injury. Sure, his last few games back then was against Newcastle, Man City reserves etc but we all saw his qualities and what he can bring to the side. Even recall some of you lot here were praising him that time. Shame that his injury put him on the back foot again.

I agree. Think he is the sort of guy who needs to consistently play to get into a rhythm, injuries have only disrupted his role in the team and its clear to see.  Hopefully he can get back to how he was playing a few weeks ago.

even against newcastle he had the touch of a cactus, and was missing 9/10 chances. just a poor player bar his movement

It is no surprise he struggled a bit at the start, factor in the team being a mess and not utilising him properly was always going to happen.

What I mean by the latter is Pedro's strengths are movement and combinations, and at the start of the season we were giving him the ball and hoping he will do something, that's not his game, it would be like telling Willian to play on the shoulder of the last defenders and score 20 or more goals this season, of course he would look bad.

Deserved to stay?...

Definitely NOT.

Why should he? Because he performed against the league's 2 worst teams in villa and newcastle. His first touch is laughable, his dibbling is poor to say the least if not useless. His finishing is atrocious.

Only thing that he is good at is movement. Might as well keep moses.
