Parky 739
If he arrives he arrives as a direct threat from the right side, not only that but he changes the dynamic of the opposition in their approach because they cannot push onto us knowing the threat he posses. He's not just a threat in terms of attacking a wing back, he's a goal threat too. If all things pan out well and we see Pedro at RW and Azpilicueta at RB we now have a template of numerous qualities, and a ready made, attack minded right-winger. The interchange between him and Hazard can also happen, it's finer things like that can also give us different dimensions to our style of play.Strap yourselves in, this is going to be good.Good analysis mate.. Toli 977
Pedro is a awesome player nad he will score alot of goals he is better than Willian and Cuadrado. He is better at scoring goals than Willian...not better technically. Willian is better at dribbling also. Willian can also create situations on his own, Pedro is completely dependent on his team mates.

Rekin 835
BBC have confirmed an agreed deal. Pedro is our newest player, and I think it is a sound piece of business.
Pacquiao 1,834
Hi friend! In fact, I was at the Vicente Calderon that day. Pedro performed well under the umbrella of the best player of all time (Lionel Messi) at the best moment of his career. Barcelona won everything last season thanks to Messi.I've been watching Pedro since he started in La Liga and I maintain everything I have said About Him.Pedro is not important in Barcelona since 2011 except to revolutionize matches. That's why he wants to leave Barcelona. But it's a good signing to take over the season. Even he can be important as right-winger With Willian in the middle. But on important days Jose played with Willian as a right-winger and Pedro will wait his chance from the bench to revolutionize the match if were necessary or if we need to make a goal.Regards.such stupid logic 'under the umbrella of Messi' so what you are saying is Pedro only played well because of Messi??? Clockwork 1,794
I would question though If it was a player we wanted, why his release clause wasnt met 4 weeks ago.Agreed, it doesn't seem very well planned.Only explanation I could give is that maybe Ivanovic horrible start changed Mou mind. Get a a more attacking forward and move The more defensively astute Azpi back to his original position.
Styles 9,790
Another good but not elite player. Same as Cuadrado and we know how that turned out.
Parks 24
I don't care how good or bad he is. The fact that he chose us over Utd has made my day.

Azul 1,615
Jose didn't buy Falco, he brought him on loan to be a backup striker. Last time I checked Rahman was 21y old. Our other transfers? Nathan, Kenedy? All young. Begovic? Not the youngest but still has at least 5 great seasons in him and is of great age for a backup GK. Our other targets - Varane and Stones - both young. And considering there are no stories at all about the 2 players you mentioned it seems to me their clubs won't all them this season and it's final.Nathan and Kenedy will most likely be loaned for a couple of season and sold after. It happened with many players that we've had.

supporter 3,088
I get what you mean completely. And I agree with you to a degree. The counter argument I guess is how many times have people seen him play without the likes of Messi, Xavi etc, even in the national team.It doesn't take a way the fact though that he does have some pretty good qualities that will add to our team and our squad. It should be interesting to see how he does without Messi and Xavi etc.For me, you don't spend 7/8 years in and around the best eleven in club and international football if you're bang average though.Hi friend!Agree with you.But Pedro with Spain has always had the role of player to revolutionize matches. While it is true that he in Chelsea will have the first opportunity to demonstrate whether he can be a good player away from Messi.Perhaps Pedro`s problem is that he has not been able to explode like a great player because of the pressure of playing close to Messi, because Messi monopolize all the protagonism in Barcelona. Will be interesting to see Pedro with us and see if he can recover the performance of the seasons between 2009 and 2011 on a team with more prominence.Pedro is "player number 12" good for any team. He is not important in principle, but it is important throughout the season.Regards.
Chelsea4 1,521
Another good but not elite player. Same as Cuadrado and we know how that turned out.You cant compare Cuadrado to a player how scored more than 100 goals before Neymar came to Barcelona,Pedro was one of the best wingers. Polo7 3,496
Really excited about this signing. Will strengthen that right side immensely. So either Moses or Cuadrado is leaving.
Milan 17,957
should have done this a month ago. not after losing community shield, drawing to swansea and getting raped by city.I guess it is better later than never. After a long time a quality and, more importantly, a natural right winger. Delighted with this signing. Hazard - Costa - Pedro combo could be fun, especially for Eden.

BlueLyon 9,359
Pedro scores more goals and assists more than Willian,Cuadrado and Mosses together. He has good stats indeed. But I will wait till he shows what he can do here, at Chelsea. Under Mourinho.
