IkE 267
I agree, but I think Cavani would be better than Falcao in front of Hazard-Mata-Schurrle...Anyways, it is a win-win situation.Falcao is miles away from Cavani, at least in my way to view the football. I think the plan all-along was to get one of these two because Chelsea is barely linked with Lewandowski or any other striker. or...stick with Torres. who knows

YouNameIt 1,511
I know for a fact that 'creating your own goals' is a contradictory statement because to create in football is to put another player in a position to score. It's not a hard concept to grasp, Rapha, all creating is setting up other players in a position to score. The very nature of it requires two or more people to facilitate it. Not only is it impossible to do but it sounds stupid to say.Says who? You? According to what?So by your logic one cannot create anything for himself, only for others. That makes zero sense.Lets assume a player gets the ball on his own half, dribbles past 6 players and scores without passing anyone. Are you telling me that the player (lets say goalkeeper) who passed him the ball on his own half was the one creating the goal(chance)?Get a grip of yourself and stop argueing like a child. Perhaps after you've read everything I've said on the subject you can join this argument, till then I don't care what your opinion is. communicate 2,703
I think everyone don't really mind getting falcao. The problem is his price tag, people are talking around 50 m pounds. That is a lot of money to spend on just one player where we still have major problem in midfield and we still have lukaku

Leif 6,006
Kalou scored twice last night vs. a full strength side. Falcao just scored against a mix of Madrid's 1st/2nd/3rd team from an offside position. Needs to do more to convince me.

Leif 6,006
he has 26 league goalsI believe around 11 (I think that's it) are penalties though, meaning that's only 15 league goals from open-play - the same amount of goals 19-year old Lukaku has in a much harder league.
