He'll either be a huge hit or he'll be eaten alive by defenders/referees in England.

Maybe a winger, since he has great dribbling skills.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I don't believe that statement that they will definitely keep him until the end of the season. If the right offer comes, they'll sell him.

Rmpr 8,977
Might not be a popular opinion, but I'd rather buy Neymar for 60m than Falcao.Neymar plays for Santos in the exact same position Hazard plays for us. I understand he is top class (more than that really), but we need Falcao more!Neymar also said countless times he will only leave after 2014 WC. RamiCFC9 258
People who say we need Drogba no2, well not this time fellas. Our style of play aint what it was and probably will never be, those long kicks from big Pete to king DIDI are gone.We tend to pass alot more, and keep the ball much better and yes we need a "poacher", although saying that Falcao is just a poacher aint quiet correct, its like saying CR7 is just a winger and Messi is just a no10. Tomo 21,751
Torres was not a panic buy, it was our owner going after what he wanted. Its not secret that Roman was an admirer of Torres since he played at A. Madrid, he finally found the opportunity to score one of his favorite players for his own football team...Why is it widely assumed Torres was completely a Roman signing, Carlo has always been a big fan of Torres and wanted him pretty much from day one (something Wilkins confirmed i believe).Despite contary to popular belief, Torres was a Carlo buy, if anything Roman said to Carlo im freeing funds for a forward who do you want? which then Carlo said Torres.Either way Torres was 100% a Carlo signing. Buffalo talks Blue 85
According to new rumors Chelsea and ManCity were told that they can have Falcao next summer. His bidding starts from a 48mil. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/radamel-falcao-can-transfer-to-chelsea-1370854
Leif 6,006
It's partly about Falcao, hence posting it here.I wish we had more Chelsea Youtubers. No offence, but he just doesn't know what he's talking about The Loic Remy 'doing an Aguero' if he comes over here made me cringe a little.I think he also mentioned having Mikel as the only holding midfielder.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc-krQnm7fs
Zinedine Iniesco 172
Well falcao is without a doubt being followed by many clubs, arguably, chelsea may be one of the clubs who will go after his purchase next summer, but there's a side to this that i think makes the whole thing a bit more complicated for chelsea or any other bidders. Real Madrid will enter OPERATION FALCAO.Very strong sources are saying that karim benzema wants to leave real madrid @ season's end. Rumors are by some very close and respectable french links, that benzema has told those close to him that he wants to leave real madrid. It's been 3 years and he still isn't the starter, he is sharing minutes with higuain and that makes his ability to shine, to be downgraded. He has to share minutes with higuain and that has caused both of them to be a bit impaired on the pitch. With not as many minutes as other starters for other clubs, they arguably can't enter the same form as others, and their mistakes are much more magnified by the fans. Benzema say that he is tired of this thing where he has to bench at times for higuain, and that he wants to become more of a 20-20 player per season. He doesn't want to be a 9, he wants to roam around the box, help the link up play, he wants to play a bit more as an SS player of sorts, and this wont glo all too very well if he can't express him self in his prime years. With these rumors of benzema leaving, the rumors of falcao joining are getting stronger. He is the best pure 9 in the world, higuain has similarities but he has dissapointed just as much as benzema has in el classicos this season, and he hasnt quite shown he's an outstanding leader in the madrid attack, compared to benz atleast. There is something going on there, and atleast one of benz or higuain will leave, apparently benz has 1 door out already but has promised to give his best while at madrid.Florentino has also approached the athletico madrid officials to rebuild their relationship after several mishaps over last season and etc.Rumor has it florentino is now trying to make a connection with the athletico madrid officials to gain an advantage on falcao. If we sell benzema or higuain, as mourinho him self said, the club will need two big name strikers, and madrid could go for the best 9 out there, specially the type of presence madrid needs.Considering the selling of benzema which wont sell for anything less than 40 million, ( if psg goes after the french starlet we could maybe squeeze out 60 + ) along with the well documented talk between florentino and officials, falcao just may be real madrid's next purchase. With the money madrid is making ( madrid has plans to turn the bernabeu into a stadium straight out of star trek) and the money and nessecity that will come with benzema's leaving, madrid looks to be preparing to go full force for falcao.Bare in mind falcao has stated real madrid is his favorite club, with video evidence, and atheltico has to sell falcao, they are in a strong need to pay their dues, and i wont bother going into all the info on how athletico literally will have to get rid of falcao by season's end.Im not trying to add fuel to the fire but these are very real things, one of benzema or higuain will leave by season's end, its only natural, and we will need a replacement. That will bring in money to buy a replacement, while also the nessecity to do so. Florentino has (FACT) engaged in talks with athletico madrid officials last week, and there is more than enough reason to think falcao is first choice.Of course the main reason he might not want to come here could be because he will have to arguably get into a situation like the one higuain and benz are facing now, but he'd be part of the best club in the world, the best squad along with bayern munich's, and would probably be paid more salary as well.Madrid 70-30 will go for Falcao. Funkyflashman 187
Athletico will NOT want to sell to Real if they can help it. If Chelsea and City match the Real offer then Real really shouldn't factor into the equation too much. Of course that depends on us matching whatever Real offer

If Chelsea and City match the Real offer then Real really shouldn't factor into the equation too much. Of course that depends on us matching whatever Real offerThat is why florentino is going into talks with them, the president cerezzo from athletico said that everytime a player leaves, he is never judged in a dictatorial way like atheltic bilbao did with martinez. If the player wants to go somewhere, and the club pay, they let him leave. Florentino has approached the sporting director in specialty and that can cause a big change in how the deal is done, making it easier for madrid. We will get revenue from the sell of either benzema or higuain too. So madrid have money. So i dont think that the club will try to block the leave all too much, specially if the player wants to go there, and real do their job at the offer.Look at aguero, he recently said that if madrid wanted him they would have gotten him, but they didnt approach him, and benz and higuain did a good job, the problem is, that the story is getting old for benz, and now he wants to leave. That's the story there.Madrid's two big no no factors, are that falcao could not like going into a situation where he may be benched, and that atheltico may not want to sell, the latter is being worked on. Of course that depends on us matching whatever Real offerCan't see Falcao going to Real anyway when they have 2 quality strikers in Benzema and Higuain. They are both very young as well and Real Madrid usually play with a lone striker so can't see him going there at all tbh

Now after this, both cerezo and martin come out and say that with falcao they will let him go wherever he wants, to who ever wishes to buy him, very different from the stance they had before, similar to how atheltic bilbao made it impossible for both madrid and barcelona to even dream of javi martinez. coincidentally after these statements from athletico madrid, falcao's father comes out and says twice that his son's dream is to play for madrid. Now if real madrid wants him, and if he wants to go there ( he has stated twice on video that his favorite club is real madrid) he will arguably be madrid's.Now i do agree that benzema offers more than higuain in many aspects and that if he leaves we should go after someone different to higuain but there arent any world class strikers out there who play the way benz does, so falcao becomes the only choice in a club that demands the best, now unless mou opts to go for a clear sub, or super sub, instead of buying the best 9 in the world then so be it, but considering that higuain can also score many goals and assists, benzema leaving doesnt make buying a 9 irrelevant. The doors are open, its up to the manager and president to decide if they will go after falcao, that is why they have opened the doors in the relationship in anticipation.Mou has said that benz and higuain will not get 50-50 time, one will win the battle early on, the other will be ostracized, and the one who is ostracized will leave. If higuain leaves and benz stays, then falcao does not come here, if higuain stays and benz leaves, i personally dont think its enough to keep only higuain.Only time will tell but the doors are open, believe me its not out of the world to see a team composed of falcao and higuain albeit they are similar in many ways. kellzfresh 7,229
Benzema and higuain didn't play well in the classico'sFalcao is a proven goalscorer in big games like drogba. Scoring in two consecutive europa league finals and against us.Falcao is who we need, athlethico madrid fans will be furious if their owner could sell him to chelsea and chose their rivals madrid instead.By the way, manchester city is placing isco as their top target this january, not falcao. Mancini went to watch him as athletico played malaga instead.
